AdultAdult Stroke Clinic For those who already swim and want to improve their strokes, this class will work on stroke techniques and training tips that will make your strokes more efficient and increase your stamina.

Adult Swim Adv Beginner Participants must be able to front and back float independently and swim half the length of the pool. For the more advanced beginner who is already comfortable in the water but, is ready to take it to the next step.

Adult Swim Beginner It’s never too late to learn! Go on ... take that plunge! Professional instruction for adults learning to swim in a safe and interactive environment.

AquaSprites Summer Syncro Team (8 weeks): The Olympic Sport that combines strength, endurance, flexibility, grace, beauty, split second timing and dance skills performed to music in the water. Come join in the fun! Perform in the water show at end of session. Must be able to swim one length of the pool.

Beg/Int Kettlebell Class Kettlebell lifting is a proven weight training system that develops strength and endurance simultaneously while improving your coordination,physique, and shedding body fat.

KettleWorX Using the KettleBell as the tool, KettleWorx delivers the 3 most important components of a fitness program all at once: core, cardio and resistance. With every exercise you’re moving your body in 3-dimensions, turning it into a fitness machine. And because you get all 3 components at once, it only takes 1/3rd the time of other workout programs.

Pilates Mat This popular form of exercise focuses on core strength. A strong core allows your body to move fully and gracefully with ease. All levels welcome.

Self Defense Class - Adult Get fit, learn practical self-defense and develop confidence and discipline. Students will learn the basics of striking, kicking and grappling for self protection.

TRX Basic Training Learn the TRX Foundational Movements. This class is for beginners and advanced TRX Suspension Trainer users. Sharpen up your skills and get mission ready - whether it’s driving the Dan Ryan during rush hour, competing in an obstacle race or running the Chicago Marathon - make your body your machine!

TRX Blast This 30 minute workout combines TRX Suspension Training bodyweight exercises with the anaerobic benefits of jumping rope and other High Intensity exercises.

TRX Bootcamp Intermediate to Advanced Levels: Workout using TRX Suspension Trainer that builds strength, increases flexibility and develops core stability and power. Must complete TRX Basics or have used the TRX trainer before.

TRX For Triathletes Increase your core and leg strength, balance and flexibility. Develop sustainable energy for those long workouts/races. In this class you will learn to strengthen the posterior chain.

TRX Force Scalable to any fitness level, TRX Force combines proven world-class training tools with an innovative and integrated functional strength and mobility regimen to make you and your command stronger, faster and more durable.

Yoga in the Park: Come join us this summer at Cornell Park for Yoga in the Park. Bring your yoga practice to the outdoors. Classes held the first and last Sunday of June, July and August. Sign up the Thursday prior to each class, for only $5.

Family Martial Arts In this open style program, parents and children train together, learning how to kick, punch and apply self defense techniques while spending a little together-time as a family. Cost is for 1 parent & 1 child.

Family Martial Arts Extra Extra fee for each additional family martial arts participant.

TeenWet Ball Water Polo Learn fundamental skills like dribbling, treading, passing and rules of the game. This class will teach participants how to work as a team and most of all have fun! Participants must have passed the equivalent of an Eel level or should be at or above a Guppy level.

Teen TRX Training Class Designed for Teens: TRX is the suspension training system that utilizes full core strength to engage every muscle of the body. Our TRX classes vary to suit different levels and different needs. Use your core and TRX to elevate you to new fitness goals.

Climbing-Rock Solid Our Rock Solid class is for those climbers who have successfully completed our belayers skills development and belay test. Climbers will learn advanced foot placements, body movements, route climbing, as well as an intro into lead climbing, quick draws, lead belaying and top rope management. Climbers in this program have an opportunity to participate in our Youth Demo Team.

Tumbling Leap, pirouette, vault or flip your way into this class today! Our very own USA Gymnastics certified instructor is at the Y and ready to help you flip into a new school year! With experience coaching every level from tiny tots through National Champions as well as leading trainings at National Gymnastics Congress and the Olympic Trials, our tumbling instructor is ready to take your child to new heights! Our tumbling program focuses on fun while teaching every level of tumbling through proper technique and repetition. Every lesson includes goal-oriented games and activities that make learning new skills fun! Developing balance, strength, coordination and flexibility will not only help your child develop into a strong tumbler, but will also help them develop in ways that will improve their performance in all other sports as well!
