Miniature Railway

Junior Rangers

Farmyard Discovery Days

When: Teenage Discovery Days: (Maximum of 8 people). All Tues-days in August - 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th. Cost: £25.00 per person. No adults required. Young Farmers - Half Day Event: (maximum of 12 including adults). All Thursdays in August - 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th. Cost: £15.00 per child, £10.00 per adult.

Enjoy a practical day in the farmyard and get hands on experience of caring for and engaging with cows, pigs, goats, sheep, horses, chick-ens and fish. Learn from their expert Farmyard team about animal welfare and how the farmyard functions to bring pleasure to all our visitors. Either come along with your young family (6 - 11 years) and work together in the farmyard in our ‘Young Farmer’ events, or leave your older children (12 - 16 years) with the team for a full day in our ‘Teenage Discovery Days’.

RSPB Bug Hunt: Thursday 13th August - 1.00pm - 3.00pm. Be amazed and learn more about the huge number of bugs that live on the estate.

Scarecrow Making: Thursday 20th August - 10.00am - 12.00pm and 1.00pm - 3.00pm. Create your own scarecrow and then plant and make a cress garden to take home.

Transport Extravaganza
