Summer 2016 Recreation Activity + Summer Camp Guide www.santeerec.com
Summer Songwriting Camp 7 - 17 Years During two weeks of intense creativity, students will write and record an original song, as well as gain a basic understanding of the legal and business sides of songwriting. They will experience the recording process, get song feedback from Grammy award winning music producer Joe Solo, and have their music recorded by Grammy Award winning sound engineer Alan Sanderson. All songs will be recorded and performed by the student and our live band of Staump Production musicians. Each student will be given a block of recording time at Pacific Beat Recording for their song. Students will rehearse their original music with the band in preparation for a live performance at the annual Staump Summer Jam held at the iconic Lestat's West music venue in San Diego. Students will be given an online worldwide distribution deal to sell their original song. Through this deal, their music will be made available to over 100 different countries and placed in over 700 online music stores including iTunes, Napster, and Spotify. This camp is limited to 6 students and is two weeks long.
