graduate from basic training at Lackland who will now be in Monterey, CA for an 18 month linguist program

• Ted & Pattie Mathis for Jerry Chrisner who is in the VA Hospital with appendicitis

• Ricardo Counts for his mother, Alene Counts, as she recovers from a partial hip replacement as the result of a fall

• Sam & Joyce Wells for Lynette Long who has a brain tumor, that the doctors will know how to help her and make her comfortable

• David & Thelma Raney for David’s sister, Sheila Simpson, who fell and injured her leg

• Frankie Millett for issues with her house shifting badly• Elva Marquez for Vanessa Pearpanit to have a fast recovery from

her sprained ankle• Barry & Sofia Newton in thanksgiving for Timothy Newton’s new

life in Christ • Lowell Adams is in Select Acute Rehab• Joy Smith is still ill at home• Jimmy Carter fell and is having extreme back pain

In preparation for the delivery and installation of our new auditorium pews, we will remove the old pews and carpet from the auditorium on Saturday, February 27th.

To minimize the time the auditorium will not be available during installation, we will have a workday to remove the carpet and pews. This will save several days of contractor labor as well as several thousand dollars.

We are looking for sixty capable men to work 6 to 8 hours on Saturday, February 27th. We ask you to sign up by Sunday, February 7th, for us to make ample plans for the day. Breakfast tacos will be served at 7:30 a.m. with work commencing at 8:00 a.m. We will also take a lunch break together. Our plan is to finish by 5:00 p.m.

We are asking only ADULT MEN (over 18 years old) to register. There is plenty of work to do.

We will organize all volunteers into work teams. Please consider committing to help us on Saturday, February 27th. Complete the registration form at www.macarthurchurch.org or in the Family Room by Sunday, February 7th.

A Big “Pew” Project…We want you to know that the new pews are scheduled to be installed from February 28th -March 11th. During these installation weeks we will replace all the light bulbs in the auditorium as well as remove and replace all the carpeting.

On Sunday, February 28th, and Sunday, March 6th, we will offer two morning worship assemblies, one at 8:00 a.m. and one at 10:30 a.m. We will not meet on Sunday evenings during those two weeks. Worship will take place in the Fellowship Hall. Bible classes will meet at the regular time. In the next few weeks you will receive many more details on the alternate schedule and plans for these days.

Goofy Golf is 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. next Sunday following Sunday Night Fire for all 6th - 12th graders. Join us as we putt-putt through Bible stories right here at Mac. The cost is $3 per person and visitors are free. 

“You’re Out of This World!” Couples Valentine’s Dinner is Saturday, February 6th. Cost is $35.00 per couple. Register in the Family Room or online today. Registration deadline is next Sunday, January 24th
