Following the release of the State Planning Policy (2017) and the 2016 revision of Australian Rainfall and Runoff, Sunshine Coast Council has prepared flooding and stormwater management guidelines and supporting technical documents to assist a future planning scheme amendment.
These guidelines aim to support the codes and policies of the planning scheme by providing additional detail around how stormwater quality, quantity and drainage and flooding issues are to be managed.
Additionally, these guidelines are also intended to provide guidance on how to comply with the future code requirements and policies of the Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme – all of which will be discussed in detail on the night.
Delivering this presentation are the likes of Nadia Guterres, Rob Booker and Crispin Smythe, all of whom are involved directly with the creation and implementation of the Sunshine Coast Council’s flooding and stormwater management guidelines.
