Fires in any industry or commercial venture are an undesirable event, which not only presents a hazard to life safety, but also can result in major property damage, disruption to production, loss of sales and customers. A further consequence of a fire that the insurance industry is less willing to accept the risk of substantial losses and therefore compensates by increasing premiums or requiring management to assume a larger portion of the risk.

In most countries, the Health and Safety Act paces the responsibility of safety on the employer i.e. Management. Management is required to take measures to ensure the safety of the working environment. Fire is a safety risk and requires adequate measures to prevent or limit the exposure or damage. Generally regarded of its very nature a destructive and uncontrollable event, fire needs to be adequately assessed for risk potential.

With the above in mind, the fore systems are fully engineered against SABS, standards as required. SB products range consists of a vast range of fire fighting across the whole field of fire protection and prevention i.e. we design and offer consultation, supply and installation commission and services various fire fighting equipment. Supply and installation of automatic fire detection and fire/safety alarming system. Our customers range from residential, commercial e.g. high-rise buildings, shopping complex, to industrial premises and mines. FIRE TRAINING

Fire training is imperative when carrying out the routine maintenance service of the fire equipment. Personnel on the site must be trained in the correct use of fire extinguishers, have relevant information and be familiar with all electronic protection equipments they have.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

The best product in the world is of no value, if not properly supported. We therefore carry out service to all products we supplied or installed to customers. We provide 24 Hour service and support to all our customers on specific manufacturers’ line of products, and we offer a variety of inspection and service contracts SABS approved.

INSPECTIONLack of proper inspection and maintenance is the single biggest cause of Fire Alarm Failures. In addition, Life Safety Code 101 requires all building owners to ensure the periodic inspection and test of all Life Safety Systems. We offer as standard, a Service Agreement Fire Alarm Systems, and ensure the safety of all occupants. Also included in our Service Agreement, is unlimited, routine service labour at all times.

ENGINEERINGWe are constantly reviewing the latest codes and standards ,and research all new products as they come to the market, in order to provide our customers with designs and solutions that not only meet today’s requirements, but anticipate future design needs , and fire alarm code requirements.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESSAll our products are environmental friendly .For fire suppression we use pyroshield Systems which is clean long term viable option to ozone damaging halon products. The ideal people friendly no risk protections for high tech installation such as telecoms controls and switch rooms.
