Multicultural Attitude and Awareness among Primary School Teachers Introduction: Multicultural awareness is a greater understanding, sensitivity, and appreciation of the history, values, experiences, and lifestyles of groups that include race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status and mental/physical abilities. Multicultural attitude is the way of thinking / feeling about multicultural issues that is reflected in a person's behavior. Multicultural awareness is a greater understanding, sensitivity, and appreciation of the history, values, experiences, and lifestyles of groups that include race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status and mental/physical abilities.
