“Like many other industries, the appliance industry was affected by COVID,” says Eric Kos-ciusko, owner of seven of the Manny’s Appliances sites throughout New England. “But we have been managing.”
He goes on to say that being a member of the New England Appliance & Electronics Group (NEAEG) is a great advantage during this time. NEAEG helps the independent appliance retailer compete by providing the most competitive pricing through collaborative vendor partnerships, as well as merchandising, operations, and advertising expertise and resources for its members. New England Group members also have concrete market advantages over the big box corporations, such as exclusive rebates and package deals when bundling specific appliances.
Since the mid-1970s when Manny’s Appliances originated, customers have been looked upon as the most valuable asset. The team continues to this day to work to achieve a positive, life-long relationship that is based on the highest standards of conduct and ethics.
Manny’s Appliances not only has a leg up in the industry for its association with NEAEG, this local business also has the advantage of having a great staff that is not only skilled when it comes to the com-plexities of appliances, but that are first and foremost customer service oriented.
“I had a great experience purchasing a new Sam-sung washer and dryer set at Manny’s,” says Emily

Higley says that the overall theme of the newly designed interior was planned to promote overall wellness. “Everything we’ve chosen to include in the design is meant to make our patients, and staff, feel good. The colors you’ll see, the wood grains, the lighting, the displays and the general flow of the interior are all intended to create a sense of harmony and well-being. The idea is to bring in the natural elements of the outdoors. I think we all feel restored when we are surrounded by a calm and pleasing environment.”
“Our current location has just become too small for our growing patient base. I’ve always dreamed of a building that was tailored to house a state-of-the-art optometry clinic and optical boutique. This new office will function more efficiently for both patients and staff and allow us to expand our diagnostic equip-ment, all while creating an atmosphere that will help us provide the best patient care possible – and that’s what we’re all about.”
For more details about the new building or to find out more about Dr. Higley and EyeWorks, visit www.eyeworks.com or call 603-352-7803.

Sodders. “The sales team were conversational and answered all my questions – especially the critical ones regarding the special circumstances surround-ing the delivery (down into a basement with sharp corners and miscellaneous obstacles). “My husband and I were both very impressed with the service, start to finish, at Manny’s, and will bring our business there for our upcoming kitchen appliance update/remodel!”
Another satisfied customer, Benjamin Wichland, had this to say of his delivery experience from Man-ny’s Appliances: “Fantastic service from Robert and Russ. They were fast and efficient while explaining it all, and they stayed to make sure it all worked.”
“All of our people have great customer service experience along with 10 years, or longer, experience in the appliance industry,” Kosciusko adds. “They know the product and will help find customers the best product for their needs.” He continues by saying that his staff really makes the business the success that it is and that they care about every customer’s experience – from the point of sale, to the delivery, to any follow-up service.
Manny’s Appliances offers full in-home delivery service and as Kosciusko boasts is “second to none.” This store also has a post-sale, full-service department to meet any needs its customers might have.
Manny’s Appliances is open Mondays through Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Exploding Kittens? Are you looking for a fast-paced, highly strategic
game that’s purr-fect for the whole family? Look no further than Exploding Kittens. Similar to Russian roulette, players draw cards until someone picks an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they’re dead, and out of the game. Unless… that player has a Defuse Card, which can defuse the Kit-ten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens. Ideal for ten or more players (ages seven and up), it’s sure to become your kids’ purr-sonal favorite.
