Dear Pitt ulab hub community
In the past month we met as a community for our second communitygathering on Oct 17 and participated in the powerful Stepping intothe Field of Future journaling exercise Our three coaching circleshave continued to meet to practice case clinics The preparation forIdeation Expo 2020 Ideas that Bridge Divides is alsounderway Really looking forward to bringing the Pitt ulab hub to awider audience Together we can make the world a better place
For this month we are on the co-presencing and co-creating stages ofthe U journey where we are crossing the threshold to bring about the
future we accessed in previous stages On Nov 14 the ulab instructorsare meeting with participants from all over the world via ZOOM sothat participants can bring in their prototyping ideas and get feedbackat an early stage The Pitt ulab hub would like to encourage allcommunity members to register via this google form as soon aspossible (for more details please refer to the announcement from theulab MOOC) As a result we will not host our regular in-person community gathering this month Instead the hub hostsare considering an alternative community gathering to coincide withthe monthly dialogue on transforming society and self The hub hostswill send an update when the date for November dialogue isannounced

On Wednesday November 13th 1000-1100am Emma Stenstroumlmfrom the Stockholm School of Economics will be sharing herexperience of co-creating SSEs Global Challengersquos program - ulabis part of the story and Theory U principles are embedded in theprogram In 2013 SSE became a signatory of PRME the UNinitiative rdquoPrinciples of Responsible Management Educationrdquo (readmore here) SSE was selected as one of the PRME Champions for2018-2019 and is currently the chair of the PRME Nordic Chapterleading with example both regionally and globally
This talk would speak to audiences interested in learning aboutapplication cases in higher education as well as audiencesexploring innovative approaches for business education

It lasts from February to May 2020 and includes systems mappingrapid cycle prototyping and a global action research network forknowledge sharing The goal is to move our collective awarenessfrom ldquoego-system awarenessrdquo to ldquoeco-system awarenessrdquo in orderto create more sustainable and equitable social systems We willtalk about registering for ulab 2X in our first information sessionon Nov 19
