was founded on July 1st, 1991 in Luther's town of Eisleben,as a legally independent associated company of theElektrotechnische Werke Fritz Driescher & Söhne GmbH.

The reason for taking this step was the availability ofwell-trained specialist staff as well as the favourablegeographical position of Eisleben.Our company strategywas to offer the customer a complete range of servicesright from the beginning.

Together with our suppliers and partner companies we arein a position to implement complex power supply systemswith all the required components, including the associatedcable networks.

As a result of consistent expansion in our production profileas well as the further development and extension of ourproducts, we are able to fit our systems with a practicallyunlimited range of equipment and can respond to virtuallyevery customer demand. DRIESCHER systems come with all the required test cer-tificates and approvals.

It is a matter of course that we complement our serviceswith concrete prefabricated stations, compensationsystems, transformers, stand-by generating units andother components.

Our company fitters use top quality technical equipmentand have the appropriate certification, putting us in a positionto fully outfit concrete prefabricated stations as well ascustomer-built switch and function rooms making themready for connection. It is also possible for us to operateon building sites where our fitters can complete qualityassembly work of the projects ordered.

In this respect please note that we have designed specialconversion variants for old transformer substations, manyof which have now been implemented and have led tomore cost efficient alternatives.

We have now supplied and assembled over 1000 concreteprefabricated stations, including their medium-voltage andlow-voltage equipment and have provided a large numberof complex central power supply stations for hospitals,company buildings and wind power stations, testifying toour company's efficiency and the excellent qualification ofour workforce.

Dribo spol. s.r.o. was founded by the ElektrotechnischeWerke Fritz Driescher & Söhne GmbH and two Czechpartners, Dipl.-Ing. Stanislav Bartos and Dr. Ing. LubomirOttich on August 29th, 1995.

The company is engaged in the manufacture and sale ofmedium voltage switchgear (6 - 38.5 kV) for indoor andoutdoor use. An additional field of activity is the productionand sale of switchpanels and switchgear.

In addition to the products of the DRIESCHER group ofcompanies, work is also being carried out in the company'sown development sector, for remote control units forswitchgear, for example.

Despite the short period of time since the founding of thecompany, we have succeeded in becoming an establishedmanufacturer and supplier for items required by theCzech and Slovak electricity generating and distributingnetworks.

Dribo supplies products for all electricity supply companiesin the Czech and Slovakian Republics. The largest marketingsector is made up by switchgear for overhead lines.The products are presently being exported to Croatia andcountries of the Middle East.
