Presentation Day - Tomorrow!

The anticipation is building! This Wednesday, 11th December, is our annual Presentation Day when we will celebrate all of the wonderful achievements of our school and students during 2019. All students will travel to the High School Auditorium by bus. Parents, family and friends should note the 12:00 midday start time for the program of events. Permission notes and fees of $3.00 should have been returned to teachers last week. Please note that the $3.00 covers transport and all other costs relating to Presentation Day. Students

not returning to school after Presentation Day must be signed out from the High School by their parents. Please be aware that i f students are going home with grandparents or someone else, a written permission note from the parent is required. Please note that there is no parking available inside the Sylvania High School grounds.

End of Year Celebration

Wednesday, 18th December i s a s p e c i a l e v e n t d a y f o r a l l students in K-6 to celebrate a great year of learning. By popular demand the Challenge2BeFit special obstacle course (think Australian Ninja Kids) will be back, and weather permitting we will finally be able to have the course set up on the oval. Students are to wear their sports uniform on this day. Year 6 Farewell Students in Years 5 & 6 are reminded that the Year 6 Farewell for 2019 will be held this Thursday evening, the 12th December from 6 p.m. in our school Hall.

CANDY CANE ALERT! Parents and students are reminded that

children should NOT be eating candy canes,

lollies or other candy before school. The

children should limit their candy cane

consumption to one per day at either recess or

lunch time. Any other candy canes and lollies

should be taken home. Children are NOT

allowed to eat candy canes in class during

lesson time.
