Pyrénaline :A new record in Spain

15 years after the death of Dan Osman, a famous climber and «inventor» of rope ju-mping (jumping from a cliff with mountain ropes), a group of French guys, Pyrénaline, wanted to pay tribute to this great athlete through an incredible jump of more than 200 meters long from Riglos’ cliff in Spain.

To do so, they had to install three ropes of 300 meters each from the top of the cliff to the ground through the canyon. Then they jumped with dynamic ropes, brea-king the spanish record of this new sport.

Pyrénaline’s members had already beaten the spanish record of rope jump last year in Montserrat. Moreover, in June 2013, they beat the world record in Norway (Kjerag) and in July the french record.

For this occasion, the crew of a french TV show was present in Riglos to shoot the jump of a french actress from the cliff.
