Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You
are present in the
Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You
into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually
into my heart.
I embrace You as if You
were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be
separated from You. ~ Amen.
Bulletins are available in the Gathering
Space after Mass or from the outdoor box
on the west side of the parish. The bulletin is
also posted on the parish website see back

~ REFLECTION ON THE 2020 YEAR ~

We hear people say that 2020 has been a year to forget. 2020 certainly has been a
challenging year that most of us want to forget however, instead of trying to forget
2020, it is a year we would do well to remember for a long time, holding what we
have experienced in the depth of our hearts.

2020 is a year we ought to learn from and to remember so many people. We have
seen just how fragile life is and how the best laid plans quickly evaporate, revealing
just how little we really control. We have come to see how important family, friends and relationships are and
to make efforts to connect with them in new and meaningful ways. We have seen just how much work or study
can be accomplished in ways unexpected and it has helped us prioritize better.

2021 promises to be better, but only if we do not forget the lessons of 2020. May we become better persons,
holier persons who have experienced God’s invitation to know Him more intimately and recognize his merciful
presence at our side in all the circumstances of our lives.

I send all of you my blessings. I pray to God that the 2021 year will bring unity, healing and health to all of us
and to our country.

Happy and Blessed New Year to All of You. Feliz Año Nuevo para Todos Ustedes.
~ Fr. Yamid Blanco
BECOME A KNIGHT!
The St. Louis and St. Paul Knights of
Columbus Council 4831 welcome
more men to become a knight and be
part of their outstanding mission. The
Knights of Columbus is a group of men
of faith, guided by their belief in God
and the Catholic Church, their belief in
each other, and their belief in them-
selves. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie or being
part of a men’s club, it is being involved with their commu-
nity; it is supporting their local Catholic Church, while
enhancing their own faith. It is about protecting and
enhancing their family life. Please contact Carl Christian for
more information: [email protected]
SIENA SCHOOL
INFORMATION

tioned contribution

the Catholic education of children and youth
in Racine. If you would like to make a contri-
bution toward the Siena Schools, we ask
that you make your donation through the
parish using the pink Siena envelopes, with
checks made out to St. Paul. Donations
made directly to the Siena School program
are not credited to the parish, so do not get
applied to St. Paul’s apportionment.
Thank you!

FAMILY FOCUS

The Baptism
of the Lord ~
“…he will baptize you
with the Holy Spirit.” (Mk 1:8b)
Living out our baptismal life can
be difficult, but that is why the
Holy Spirit is present in our lives.
This week it would be fun for
parents to share children’s bap-
tismal story. Why did you pick
certain godparents? What was
the day like? What was the
service like for you? Jesus sets
an example by being baptized.
An example that we follow by
setting one for our children and
others around us.
