Achillea 'Firefly Sunshine' (Proven Winners)

Yarrow is one of the easiest perennials to grow and is a good choice for beginners. All it needs is full sun and well-drained soil. It thrives in average to poor soil and is drought tolerant once established. Plants grown in rich soil tend to be tall and floppy. After the flowers have faded, cut the plant back by half. This will likely stimulate a second flush of blooms in late summer.

Airplane Plant (also known as Spider Plant)

Spider Plant is one of the easiest houseplants to care for. Thrives best in low to minimal light and biweekly watering. Spider takes toxins and converts them to oxygen. It's an old standby but try dressing it up in an urn or letting it hang over a bookcase.

Aloe

Aloe vera is known as a succulent plant, which means it stores water in its leaves and stem. This makes it a hardy plant that needs very little water, allowing it to survive in dry environments. Aloe vera has a very short stem with thick, fleshy, greenish leaves fanning out from it. These leaves are where you find the goodness in Aloe vera.

Campanula 'Rapido White'

Campanula are an easy to grow perennial, preferring a moderately rich, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Good drainage will ensure a large display of their bell-shaped flowers. Keep watered in the summer and fertilize regularly. You must dead head flowers for continuous blooming. Blooms July to September. Plants should be divided every 2 to 4 years, in spring or fall. Prefers good drainage.

Christmas Cactus

A Christmas Cactus is a tropical plant that does not naturally exist in nature. It was bred from two unique parent plants that both grow in the South American rainforests, specifically in Brazil. The plant is recognizable by its segmented stem and the brightly colored blooms that appear at the ends of them. Blooms are typically red, pink, purple, yellow, or white, and the blooms can occur at different times throughout the year. Most notably, they can appear near Christmas, which is where the name is derived.

Common Bearded Iris

Celebrate spring with the beautiful blooms of bearded iris. These perennial favorites start flowering in mid-spring and last until mid-June, depending on the variety. Bearded iris (Iris germanica) are a traditional garden flower for decorating graves on Memorial Day. In the temperate zones of the Midwest and Northeast, these bloomers are usually staging a spectacular show about that time.

Daylily 'Going Bananas' (Proven Winners)

One of the very best reblooming daylilies. Lightly fragrant, lemon yellow flowers open fully just above the relatively short clump of attractive green foliage. Blooms early in the daylily season and continues through the heat of summer into fall. Use in mass plantings or anywhere low maintenance perennials are needed.

Daylily 'Handwriting on the Wall'

Handwriting On The Wall is an elegant and colorful daylily with a recognizable style by a popular hybridizer named Karol Emmerich. The purple eye has a unique look reminiscent of a watercolor painting with a bright throat and beautiful edges with purple and gold. An amazing addition to any garden.

Daylily 'Tiger Swirl' (Proven Winners)

Generally growing to a height of 32” with a spread of 18”-24”, the Rainbow Rhythm Tiger Swirl Daylily is easily distinguishable by its bright yellow, gold, and orange shades, as well as its traditional green foliage. You can expect peak blooms in mid-summer months. These can be used as border plants, mass plantings, fillers in a container, and landscaping. They are also rabbit resistant.

Deep Purple Siberian Iris, possibly variety known as Caesar’s Brother.

Showy, six-segmented flowers bloom in late spring; the 3 outer petals (falls) are beardless; the species flowers are shades of blue and purple; grass-like foliage. Grows in full sun or partial shade; tolerant of poor, dry soils, but grows best in fertile, moist, slightly acid soils.

Delphinium Pink Punch

Deep rose blossoms accented with dark purple centers (bees). Pink Punch is undeniably the deepest pink Delphinium available for the perennial garden.

New Zealand Hybrids are bred for excellent form, strong stems, and vigorous growth. Frilly double flowers on strong stalks in summer. Some rebloom if spent flower stalks are removed. Improved heat and humidity tolerance.

Dogwood trees - pink and white varieties

This flowering tree is one of the most noble of flowering trees due to its timeless beauty. It is the perfect tree for landscaping as it can be appreciated during all four seasons. The tree's showy white or pink flowers are breathtaking in the spring. They typically flower between April and May, depending on the region. Deep green leaves turn a shade of red-purple in the fall. Glossy scarlet berries appear in the fall and winter, and they are relished by winter songbirds. This popular deciduous tree matures at 15 to 30 feet. It is a low branching tree that has about a 25 foot spread. It nicely branches out to be wider than it is tall when mature. It prefers partial shade to full sun and is adaptable to various soil types. This includes acidic, moist, or loamy soil and even clay. This very hardy tree is drought tolerant.

Hibiscus - unknown variety

Perennial hibiscus have big, disc-shaped, hollyhock-like flowers that can be 6 to 12 inches across. The perennial hibiscus species found in gardens are the result of hybridizing native hibiscus species.

Ice plant

The name "ice plant" derives from tiny hairs on the plant that reflect light in a manner that resembles ice crystals. The foliage is fleshy and succulent-like and morphs into a darker color as fall temperatures drop. In the southern part of its range, it may be evergreen.

Individual plants often spread as much as 24 inches, although some instances of 3 or even 4 feet across are reported. It is used

most often in sunny but sheltered desert gardens, rock gardens, or slopes or as a ground cover or edging plant. This plant can be invasive in some areas, so caution should be used when planting it.

Jade

Crassula ovata, commonly known as jade plant, lucky plant, money plant or money tree, is a succulent plant with small pink or white flowers that is native to the KwaZulu-Natal province and Eastern Cape of South Africa and Mozambique, and is common as a houseplant worldwide.

Lavender 'Hidcote'

‘Hidcote' is a compact English Lavender that grows only 18-24 inches tall, with highly fragrant, deep purple-blue flowers. Excellent for both fresh and dried bouquets, this lavender attracts bees and butterflies but repels deer and rabbits. Perfect for hot, dry sites and drought tolerant once established. Wandering Jew Plant finds its way into hanging baskets and mixed annual containers for the summer because of its easy-going, tolerant nature and the colorful leaves that hang down from hanging baskets.

Washington Hawtho6/rn tree

Grows to 25 feet. Small tree with pendulous branches, dark green, shiny leaves. Reddish-purple leaves emerge in spring, then turn dark green as they are joined by a graceful display of white flowers. In autumn, the leaves turn orange, scarlet or purple. Edible Red berries extend the colorful show into winter. The berries are also eaten by songbirds, such as Cedar Waxwings, also ruffed grouse, fox sparrow, wood duck, turkey, bobwhite and pheasant eat the fruit.
