OVERVIEW

This document outlines the process of installing, configuring and using a 30 day evaluation version of the T-Connect EDI Splitter. The pipeline component is installed to its own BizTalk Application, Tallan.TConnect.EDISplitter. Once installed, the pipeline component can be added to any BizTalk Application; this document uses the Default BizTalk Application (normally “BizTalk Application 1”) as an example. The document also illustrates how to use application references to utilize the component in other applications.

The included license will grant you use of the tool for 30 days. After that, continued use will result in an error in the Event Log stating “License expired.” You can extend the license of this tool at any time. Contact [email protected] to inquire.

STEP 6: ENTER THE USER ACCOUNT USED BY BITTALK HOST INSTANCE

2. Open the installation path specified in Step 4 1 . Run “SSOSettingsEditor.exe”

2. After the changing the delimiter setting for each EDI Transaction press save

Header Information

HL*HL01 is repeated 15000 times. The EDI Splitter will count each occurrence of the HL segment and will split the file after the predetermined number of segments is found

Trailer Information

OPTIONAL CONFIGURATION: ADD BIZTALK ASSEMBLIES TO “BIZTALK APPLICATION 1”

If desired, the EDI Splitter pipeline component can be used within other applications either by

reference or by adding the assemblies. This example shows how to do that with BizTalk Application 1.

3. Open BizTalk administration console.

4. Right click on BizTalk Application 1 goto Add -> BizTalk Assemblies



5. Press add in “Add Resource” popup

6. Goto the installation path from Step 4 and select and add these DLLs 1. Tallan.BizTalk.TConnect.PipelineComponents.EDISplitter 2. Tallan.BizTalk.TConnect.PipelineComponents.Helper

3. Tallan.BizTalk.TConnect.PipelineComponents.Pipeline



7. Check these option and complete the process 1. “Add to the global assembly cache on add resource (gacutil)” 2. “Add to the global assemnly cache on MSI file import (gacutil)”

3. “Add to the global assembly cache on MSI file install (gacutil)”



8. Add “BizTalk Application 1” as reference. Right click on the application where the edi splitter will be used goto Add->References

9. Select “BizTalk Application 1”

10. Create a New Recevie Port which accepts Flat Files



11. Select “Rcv_EDISplitter” in the receive pipeline options
