4. Description of Error:

EOI 1003 Revision 2: Hosgri duct support qualifications for the TurbineBui ldin 4KV Switchgear Room HVAC Systems have not been located as ofOcto er 28, 1981 (Area A).

The PGKE duct support calculations dated prior to October 28, 1981 areincluded in the PGICE resolution package (Fray to Oenison - 6/15/82) P105-4-1003-008. These calculations are applicable to detail 5/440 and aretitled "Ventilation Duct Seismic Support 'Hosgri Evaluation'Auxiliar~Bui'Idio - Diablo Canyon

Revision 4 to this file was a Potential Error Report Class C. Based onthe 9/17/82 submittal of the DCP Phase I Final Report in which the OCP

has stated that the HVAC supports are being reanalyzed, the IOYP ProgramReview Committee on 9/29/82 decided to change this to an Error A or B.The IOVP also decided to combine File 1077 with this file.

5. Recoaeendation:

Error A or B,based on the ITP reanalysis effort stated in the OCP Phase IFinal Report (9/17/82 submittal). Because of ITP reanalysis the IQYPProgram Review comnittee changed to this from a Potential Error C

(Revision 4 of this file). The IDVP will also combine File 1077 on HVACsupports into this file.

PIPESO provides the user with two options with regard to tributary pipemass associated with support nodes. Masses assigned to support nodes mayeither be deleted (option A) or distributed to adjacent node points(option B).

The design analyses corresponding to the initial RLCA sample deletemasses assigned to support nodes. A comparison case run by RLCA showsthese two options produce results that differ by more than 15K. Ingeneral, the support loads obtained by option B are higher than thoseobtained by option A.

Rev. 2 of this file was a PPRR from RLCA for an Open Item with futureaction by PGKE. TES and RLCA agreed in a Program Review Committee actionto modify this recomnendation to that shown below.

4. Description of Error:

The design analysis 8-25 modeled the CVCS separator/stabilizer supportas an X and Y translational restraint. RLCA field verification showsthis support as an X and Y translational and X and Z rotational restraint.

5. Significance of Error:

The separator/stabilizer was qualified as an "in-line" piping component.Detign anaTysis 8-25 does not record the correct anchor bolt loadson the separator/stabilizer.

6. Recomnendation:

Based on PGEE presentations of their technical program, this file is combinedwith files 961, 1021, 1058, 1059, 1060, and 1104 as an Error Class A or B.

The inclusion of file 1060 and 1104 into this file was achieved by ProgramReview Comnittee action.

All concerns of the above mentioned files will be reviewed under this file.

4. Description of Error:

Inappropriate application of computer code, CONTEt1PT, by NuclearServices Corporation (NSC) for calculation of environments outsidecontainment for equipment qualification in area GW results intoo low of an equilibrium temperature. SWEC's calculation usingcomputer code THREED results in a temperature of 313 F as comparedto NSC's temperature of 200 F . The reason for this significantdifference is due to the manner in which the CONTEMPT code calculatesthe venting flow.

5. Significance of Error:

Safety-related equipment outside Containment which must functionin a severe environment experiences temperatures on the orderof 100 F greater than reported.

6. Pecommendation:

1. Reanalysis by PG&E using. an appropriate computer code.

2. Report by PGKE of results to IDYP for review.
