Start of batch - billets loaded at front and ready to receive completed parts at rear. Stacker plates low and high
Principle of operation
End of batch - billets have been taken from front and completed parts are loaded to rear. Stack plates high and low
(loading direction can be reversed)

Guarding
Guarding is minimal and features a steel and acrylic screen on two sides and by a SICK microScan3 Core Safety Laser Scanner on the other two sides
This lack of conventional guarding coupled with an angled robot mounting base allows very easy and uncluttered access to the machine
Complies to European safety standards
Warning area - audible warning signal given if entered and robot slows to 10% of programmed speed
Protect Area - robot will stop immediatley if entered
Operator safety is assured by two monitored zones:
