Nothing beats a trekking tour through unspoilt nature. Assuming, of course, you have the right

rucksack. Because a design that sits badly on your back or is too heavy can quickly turn a “tour”

into something “tortuous”. However, to make sure that doesn’t happen, TATONKA has a wide

range of special trekking rucksacks, for any load, any wearer, any preferences – and any wallet.

All our carrying systems have the Vario ladder system, which adapts perfectly to the length of

the carrier’s back. Needless to say, the TATONKA ladies’ versions that are tailored specifically to

the female form also have this system.

The choice of rucksack also depends on the trekking type. After all, every trekker has his – or

her – personal preferences. Bison and Tana are the perfect companions for people who like

longer tours with loads on the other side of 25 kg. They have the Highend X1 carrying system,

and are made of light but extremely tear-resistant materials such as Cordura. Yukon and Isis

with the comfortable V2 carrying system are just the thing for all-rounders with loads around

the 20 kg-mark. Those who appreciate the highly wear-resistant Cordura materi als for this

load range as well as plenty of features would do well to choose the new designs Tyrock and

Amber. And for those who like to travel with lighter luggage, we have the strong new touring

rucksacks Norix and Lyid or the Pyrox und Ruby, made from lightweight materials, all of

which are fitted with the X Light Vario carrying system.

Ladies trekking rucksack with a wealth of features. Despite its slender, sporty lines, the Amber trekking rucksack offers an abundance of features for extensive treks. The large main compartment with detachable base can also be accessed through a front opening, while zip-up side pockets have expansion pleats to hold e.g. large water bottles. Like the zip front pocket or large height-adjustable lid compartment, the additional mesh pockets on the sides can also be used to store utensils. Side and all-round base compression straps keep the contents safely in place, and there are various attachment points on the outside of the rucksack. To make sure the fully packed rucksack is as comfortable as possible to carry, it has the adjustable V2 carrying system that was designed specifically for the female form. Combination of aluminium frame and V2 carrying system. The Lastenkraxe has a welded aluminium frame, and provides the necessary carrying comfort for heavy luggage. Suitable for a carrying load of up to 50 kg, it is extremely versatile. A 25-cm deep arm is the load area. The tubes of the main frame are 24 mm in diameter, those of the cross frame 20 mm. Stability is guaranteed by a total of four diagonal struts on the main frame. The one-piece reinforced hip strap and carrying straps are well padded to prevent pressure spots. Despite having less luggage, lightness counts in combination with the necessary robustness if you want to be on your way quickly. The Pyrox touring rucksack is made of T-Rip Light and 450 HD Polyoxford. The ultra light T-Rip Light fabric is PU/silicone coated, and is highly tear resistant despite its light weight, so these lightweight trekking models can also put up with quite a bit. The adjustable X Light Vario carrying system was specially designed for trips with less luggage, and sits perfectly on the back.
