Injury Evaluation Consultant:

Support management in ensuring consistency and objectivity by reviewing and recommending Casualty settlement amounts (Second look process). Identifies drivers to address injury, Casualty file quality and process execution through desk reviews and data analysis. Analyze and evaluate claim processes or procedures and explain complex information as a result of the research, manage communication, verbally or in writing, regarding claim processes/procedures with other employees, leaders and teams. Proactively use claim technical expertise to train others, provide coaching and feedback to claim service adjusters on claim investigation, claim values and negotiation strategies. Advise management on specific opportunities to assist with claim adjuster coaching and performance, manage multiple work assignments with limited guidance provided, identify patterns and relationships in data using multiple resources, provide analyses for MCO regarding measurement, interpretation of reports and trends.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:Expert knowledge of coverage, liability and damage theories of defense, negligence, medical terminology and report interpretation, legal terminology and process, settlement value. Colossus methodology and broad knowledge of business areas processes including best practices in order to support the area’s projects, products and services. Application of standardized mathematical concepts to solve problems and prepare reports for analysis. Ability to leverage learned technical skills in support of team objectives. Effective communication in working with others in complex situations and ability to interact effectively with and influence internal and external customers. Achieve
