Coming Up

News from 3-6 Welcome back to Term 2! We have been busy in the 3-6 class learning about British Colonisation. The students have really enjoyed the story, ‘A Penny To Remember’ and doing the various activities. Over the next few weeks we will be completing a project about the history of our school and we would like to know if any family relatives came on the First Fleet or were convicts. We welcomed our new music teacher today, Kelly Sturgiss. The students enjoyed learning the basic elements of music and created a song about their names. Kelly will start private lessons shortly and will be in contact with you soon, if you showed an interest in having your child taught privately. Unfortunately GCOPS is cancelled for this year. In Japanese students are learning how to introduce themselves and will continue over the next few weeks to learn greetings for different times of the day. They will also start to learn the hiragana alphabet.
