It is simple & easy to set up. Banking day is Thursday. P&C Meeting The next P&C Meeting, will be held on Tuesday 4th December 2018 at 3.30pm. Please come along and consider how you can help and support the students of Tarago Public School. Tarago P&C email: [email protected] 3-D Printing 3-6 students had to design a key tag that could be 3-D printed. Firstly, we needed to understand how to use the design software TinkerCAD. In TinkerCAD we then had to design a key tag that had be less than 60mm long, 40mm wide and 4mm thick. We could add our name to the top, which had to be 3mm high. Once our design was complete and within the guidelines we had to export it as a .stl file to the collaboration folder on the server. From there Mr Katen could print them. Lachlan Graham Library Our Library will be opened each Monday and Tuesday at recess for borrowing. News from K-2

This past week we have been learning about

Remembrance Day and the importance of it being

100 years since we first had Armistice Day. We

created our own wreath of poppies, did some

research, listened to the last post and stood

beautifully still for our 1 minute of silence.

News from 3-6 Students have been designing 3-D objects for printing. This has been an excellent exercise not just for the design aspects but a great chance to use their mathematics skills. All designs had to be created to meet per set criteria and then exported in a suitable format to a shared network folder for printing. There was an amount of design and redesign to develop a set of guidelines that suited the project. Mr Katen
