Cluster Readiness

Cluster Definition

Sites in a cluster should make contiguous coverage footprint over an

area with a fairly homogenous clutter type

Pre-defined sites shown in cluster sites list

Cluster is given with clear boundary in MapInfo Layer file

80% or more sites in the cluster should be ready for test in both

hardware and software

Hardware and Software Checkup

No major hardware alarms within this cluster

Alarms such as VSWR can be checked from OMC in advance

Finish detailed planning and configure it into network to ensure

cluster sites function normally

Ensure RNC and Node B configuration is the same as the detailed

planning

Tools. 2 Test Mobiles, 2 Data card, GPS, 4 SIM Cards (including 2for Data Card

without throughput limitation), Test Cables

. FTP user/password/FTP Server in CN for data test, Destination Mobile
