Tatton was founded with the single goal of bringing expert investment management services to a wide range of investors.

Now part of Tatton Asset Management plc, we launched back in 2013. Since then we have established ourselves as one of the fastest growing discretionary fund managers of our kind. As at September 2018 Tatton has over £5.7 billion assets under management.

The Tatton Blended Fund Range


Active managers thoroughly research and select securities to invest in, responding to changing external factors. Active funds are generally more expensive than tracker funds. Tracker funds have a rule based systematic approach from the outset, which is rarely varied. Many simply aim to mirror assets in a certain index, like the FTSE 100 for example. This is why the two styles of investing are called ‘active’ and ‘tracker’ respectively.

Our Blended Fund Range is comprised of approximately 50% tracker and 50% active investments.

THERE ARE TWO MAIN TYPES OF FUND THAT MAKE UP OUR INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS: ACTIVE AND TRACKER.

Our investment team has designed our Blended Fund Range according to the same maxim that guides all our products: maximum

investment performance at the lowest possible price, managed according to clearly defined and adhered to risk profiles. These principles do not come at the expense of results.

Our Blended Fund Range requires no minimum investment and can be accessed by investors’ existing investment platform.

JiM KEAn - head of investment

Jim brings more than 30 years’ industry experience to Tatton, managing our investment department, directing our global market research and building our investment strategies.

Joining us from his own consultancy, Jim previously spent eight years as Head of Debt & Investment Research at Barclays Wealth, where he was responsible for £7 billion of assets.

JAMES SAundErS, CFA - QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH ANALYST Joining us in April 2017 as Quantitative research Analyst, James focuses his analysis on fund selection, performance attribution and building asset allocation processes.

James previously acted as Portfolio Manager at Sandaire, Investment Analyst at Lord North Street Limited and Trader at Tibra Capital. A CFA-charterholder, James holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Quantitative Finance & Risk Management from Newcastle University.

EMMA dixOn - INVESTMENT MANAGER Emma brings two decades of investment administration, trade execution and private client portfolio management experience to Tatton, joining us in July 2016.

Previously Portfolio Manager at Barclays Private Bank, Emma also held roles at Henderson Investors, CCLA, Datastream and Hambros Bank, where she started her career in the early 1990s. She holds a range of professional qualifications in investment and project management.

Paul Muir, CFa - SENIOR FUND RESEARCH ANALYST Joining us in March 2017 as Senior Fund research Analyst, Paul is responsible for the selection of third-party funds using quantitative and qualitative analysis. He also works closely with fund managers to understand their processes, positioning and outlook on behalf of our clients.

With over ten years’ investment experience, Paul was previously Fund Research Analyst at C Hoare & Co. A CFA-charterholder, Paul holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Nottingham.
