LIMEX a revolutionary new material

made from limestone

10

WHY?

TBM

11

TBM

More plastic than fish

in the sea by 2050

TBM

12

Only 2 % of plastic packages

have been effectively recycled.

TBM

13

Progressive regulations on single-use plastics

have been introduced worldwide.

Region Trends Examples

AfricaMany countries have banned the production

and use of plastic bags.@Kenya: Imprisonment up to 4 years or fines of $40,000

Asia

Some countries have regulations on the

production and use of plastic bags. A few

placed a ban on plastic bags.

@India: President Modi announced to abolish single-use

plastics by 2022.

EuropeEU aims to reduce the use of light-weight

plastic bags per capita by 2025.

@France: A ban on use of single-use plastics by January

2020

Oceania@Australia: Most states have banned light-

weight plastic bags.

@Papua New Guinea: A ban on non-biodegradable

plastic bags

Central and

South America

Regulations have been developed by national

and local governments to reduce plastic bag

consumption.

@Costa Rica: Foamed plastic products are regulated. It

aims to abolish single-use plastics by 2021.

North America

Regulations are placed at the state/city level.

Montreal, California, and Hawaii ban light-

weight plastic bags.

@NY: Policies were implemented in 2015 and 2017 to

ban single-use Styrofoam.

14

HOW?

TBM

15

LIMEX reduces petroleum-based resin use.

Conven-

tional

plastics

100 % Petrochemicals

20~40% Petrochemicals + 60~80% Limestone

19

WHY?

TBMTBM

20

40% of world population

will experience water stress by 2050

TBM

21

HOW?

TBM

22

LIMEX sheets can be produced

with almost no water and no trees.

Highly waterproof and

tear resistant

It can be kept clean outdoors even

under rain shower.

Semi-Permanently

recyclable

LIMEX can be semi-permanently

recycled, as LIMEX is mainly made

of limestone.
