    General Objective:

    At the end of the teaching session, the students will acquire knowledge about

    maintaining hygiene and proper nutrition. The teachers would like to impart the

    importance of hygiene and nutrition in healthy living.

    Specific Objectives:

    At the end of the topic discussion, the students will be able to:

    1. Identify the things used in performing hygiene.

    2. State appropriate usage of soap. Shampoo. Toothpaste, towel, clean clothes,

    and comb.

    3. Demonstrate ways of maintaining proper hygiene in our daily living.

    4. Participate in the storytelling activity through role playing.

    5. Identify healthy food from junk food.

    6. Identify the importance of healthy food in our body.

    Introduction:

    Students from Barangay 658 Day Care Center will be the participants of this

    teaching session. The students already have basic knowledge about personal hygiene

    and proper nutrition from their teacher. This basic knowledge would help the teachers to

    perform their teaching activity easier.

    On February 13, 2013, the teachers will discuss Proper hygiene and nutrition.

    The teaching session will involve discussion, interactive storytelling and games.

    Course Outline:

    Assessment:

    For the teachers to assess the students basic knowledge about personal

    hygiene and nutrition, the students would be asked about their daily routine at home

    and school regarding the ways they maintain personal hygiene and food they eat.

    Evaluation:

    In order to evaluate the students learning, the teacher will simulate different

    ways of maintaining hygiene and the students will be able to classify healthy food from

    junk food, such as banana, egg, cheese, milk, orange, lettuce, mango, apple, potato,

    and candy, soft drinks, chocolate, ice cream for the later.
