DESCRIPTION

University of Idaho publication by the Natural History Department. My avocation has been as an Amateur Archaeologist. I spent the better part of ten years traveling throughout the Western United States examining sites where Hunter-Gatherers lived, hunted, gathered, fought, and died. Many of these placer were left reminders of a race of people long absorbed into the Earth. One such site is known as the Little Blue Table Complex. It is located in Owyhee County, Idaho and covers a vast landscape covered in Petroglyphs, Pictographs, and thousands of Obsidian Points and Stone Tools. This site, in particular, is important because I have managed to prove, beyond a shadow of doubt, that it houses a Solar Observatory, one of only a few in the United States. It's nearest relative is known as Fajhita Butte. This article is remarkable in the fact that a non-professional was accepted for publication. It was only with the professional guidance of the Department head that I was able to accomplish this task. Many have tried to prove my theory wrong and no one has.
