1928 Company director Dipl. Ing. Hermann founds the company »Fortuna-Kaltsägenfabrik« in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim.

1928/1929 Worldwide economic crisis: The company overcomes this period through technical innovations, hard work and entrepreneurial skill.

1948 Ing. Hans Klaeger becomes corporate manager. In spite of all difficulties of the post-war era, the company can be rebuilt, thanks to the committed support of the employees.

1979 Klaeger Präzision is founded by Hans Klaeger together with Dipl. Ing. Erhard Jost, the 2nd managing director Erhard Jost.

1987 Dipl. Ing. Wolfram Klaeger, grandson of the company's founder, becomes managing director and continues the company's success story.

2002 Construction of the new production and assembly plant Kernen-Rommelshausen near Stuttgart.

2003 KLAEGER celebrates its 75th company anniversary.

2010 KLAEGER develops its own new control system for the complete sawing machine production.

2011 All vertical bandsaws of the VBS series are redesigned.

2013 KLAEGER celebrates its 85th company anniversary. In addition to further new developments in cooperation with the University of Stuttgart, the innovative SmartCut is developed.

2015 KLAEGER develops 3DCut for additive production.

2017 Dipl. Ing. Sebastian Löffler becomes the sole managing director of KLAEGER.

2018 KLAEGER focuses on innovation and especially on production niches.
