17. ALL PANELBOARDS NOT LOCATED IN MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT ROOMS

SHALL BE FLUSH MOUNTED, UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. FROM FLUSH MOUNTED PANELS,

PROVIDE AT LEAST ONE 3/4" CONDUIT TO ABOVE ACCESSIBLE CEILING FOR EACH THREE

POLES WITHOUT WIRE CONNECTED.

16. ALL 15A AND 20A RECEPTACLES IN RESTROOMS, OUTDOORS OR WITHIN 6' OR AN OUTSIDE

DOOR, WITHIN 6 FEET OF THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF SINK(S); OR SERVING WATER

DISPENSERS, KITCHEN EQUIPMENT OR LAUNDRY EQUIPMENT; SHALL BE GFI PROTECTED.

SEE NEC AND LOCAL CODES FOR SIMILAR REQUIREMENTS. THESE REQUIREMENTS APPLY

LARGE ENOUGH FOR THE AMPERAGE. NOTIFY ENGINEER IF

NOT.

[30] INSTALL NEW 20A/1P BREAKER IN PANEL LP-6111.

[31] USE EXISTING GROUNDING CONDUCTORS TO GROUND

ENCLOSURES OF VFDs 1, 2 & 3 AND OF MCC-62. USE #3/0 BARE

COPPER AND GROUNDING-RATED COMPRESSION

CONNECTORS.

[32] IF EXISTING CONDUCTORS WILL NOT REACH NEW

TERMINATION POINTS, PROVIDE NEW J-BOX ON WALL OR

CEILING AND SPLICE CONDUCTORS. FOR MV CONDUCTORS,

USE ONLY SPLICING METHODS RECOMMENDED BY CABLE

MANUFACTURER AND APPROVED BY THE FACILITY ENGINEER.

[33] FOR CONTROL AND SIGNAL CONDUCTORS ROUTED THROUGH

COMPARTMENTS OR MANHOLES THAT INCLUDE 2.4 KV WIRING,

ENCLOSE THEM IN PVC COATED FLEXIBLE STEEL CONDUIT

(LFMC) GROUNDED TO THE ENCLOSURE (OR MANHOLE

GROUND). SECURE IN PLACE. (INTENT IS TO PROVIDE ADDED

CABLE PROTECTION, PERSONNEL SAFETY AND EMI

SHIELDING.)

GALVANIZED ANGLE AS HEADER FOR MASONRY OPENING.

GROUT ANGLE INTO MASONRY JOINT TO AT LEAST 12" BEYOND

OPENING EACH SIDE. INSTALL WITH VERTICAL FLANGE UP AND

ON INSIDE. ADJUST DISCHARGE LOUVERS FOR WIDE

DISTRIBUTION.

[43] PROVIDE REMOTE THERMOSTAT 12" BELOW ROOF SLAB. SET

ALL THERMOSTATS AT TEMPERATURES REQUESTED BY

OWNER. ENGINEER SUGGESTS SETTING AT 1°F INTERVALS

BETWEEN 78°F AND 82°F.
