The Precious Lamb of God By: Sister Marilyn Silver

Now behold the Lamb the precious Lamb of God, born into sin that we may live again the Precious Lamb of God.– Kirk Franklin

Greetings dear readers. This is the month we

celebrate Mothers. Throughout the years many of us have

tried to show our Mothers just how much we love and

appreciate them. We want them to feel special and worry-free.

Even after all of that, there is yet a place in life where every

Mother should strive to reach. That place is finding favor with

God. Remember the angel appeared unto Mary, the Mother of

Jesus, prior to her giving birth to Jesus? The angel spoke to

her and said, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor

with God” (Luke 1:30). Mothers, before we can please the

Lord or allow Him to birth a new life in us, we must find favor

in Him.. Christ laid down his life for us that we may live for

Him. Now behold the Lamb the precious Lamb of God, born into sin

that we may live again the Precious Lamb of God. Oh Oh Oh, Oh

Oh Oh...Why You love me so, Lord I shall never know, the

precious Lamb of God. Mothers, it’s good to know that

Christ loves us so much that He gave His life for us! Out of all

the things we as Mothers do, such as loving and caring for our

husbands, our children, families, taking care of the home,

helping wherever we can, and looking out for others; let’s not

forget to care for our souls. The best gift , we as Mothers, can

give to ourselves, our families and to others is to LOVE God

and LOVE one another. Loving our children and training

them up in the ways of God, show God that we appreciate the

blessings that He has entrusted to us.

Dear children, you too, have a responsibility—the

Bible states in Proverbs 15:20, “A wise son maketh a glad

father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.” Remember to

cherish, honor and love your Mothers. To ALL Mothers

everywhere, celebrate Jesus, the Precious Lamb of God, and

have a Blessed and Happy Mother’s Day.

Temple Elders Speak... Jesus Christ The Only True Peace Maker

By: Elder Robert Brice, Sr.

Praise the Lord once again everyone. It's again we thank God for being able to come to you. There is a subject that is so popular today, and that subject is—PEACE. Peace is a term everyone is striving to obtain, from the government on down. Men and women will pay any price, and travel any distance to obtain it. The world we are living in today is filled with chaos, troubles and turmoil because of the lack of peace. Men and women are killing, stealing, lying, there are broken families, cheating, wars and all causing havoc, because there is no peace. Now, there is a false sense of peace that the world tries to portray, but on the outset it's all deceptive. All hope is not gone, because there is a God who came to bring us peace. All of the peace and fulfillment we need is found in JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. The only, I say, the only way to real peace is in Jesus. This peace must start with every human being in this world. Before the fall of man in the garden, there was total peace on this earth; but since the fall of man,

there's been total chaos. So, in order to regain peace we must go back to the master peacemaker who is Christ our Lord. For Christ said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth (St. John 14:27). Therefore, the peace the whole world needs to seek is the peace that only God can give. The only way that this can be obtained is through Faith in Jesus Christ, and a repented heart. Then, God will give you peace. God bless—until next time.

Jesus’ Description of Who His “Mother” Is By: Deacon Larry Adams, Sr.

Praise the Lord saints. As we enter the month of May

we begin to think deeper about, and praise God for Mothers,

living and those who have passed on to reign with Him. On

May 8, 2016, we celebrate Mother’s Day. The word “Mother,”

as per the Franklin Electronic KJV Bible , is used in the scriptures

two hundred and ninety-nine (299) times; two hundred twelve

(212) times in the Old Testament, and eighty-seven (87) times

in the New Testament.

As Jesus loved His Mother (read/study John 19:25-27),

so does He love us. Therefore, in the scriptures (KJV) Luke

8:20 and 21 state, “And it was told him by certain which said,

Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see

thee. And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my

brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.”

Jesus’ true family are those who hear/study and obey His word.

Hearing without obeying is not enough. Revelations 2:10 (KJV)

says, “Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of

life.” Saints stay with God, and continue to pray that He leads,

guides and directs “US!” "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!"

Dedication to the Sick & Shut-In... Submitted By: Mother Ruby Beanum

There are times when only a mother's love Can understand our tears, Can soothe our disappoints And calm all of our fears.

There are times when only a mother's love Can share the joy we feel

When something we've dreamed about Quite suddenly is real.

There are times when only a mother's faith Can help us on life's way

And inspire in us the confidence

We need from day to day.

For a mother's heart and a mother's faith And a mother's steadfast love Were fashioned by the angels

And sent from God above.

Temple Women Speak... JESUS IS REAL

By: Sister Sharon Robinson

Reflecting over my life, I realize that if I did not allow Jesus to work in my life; I would be so messed up and without hope. Thank God for Jesus and that he is Real in my life. We can do all things with him, and fail miserably without him. (Philippians 4:13) Sometimes there may be tests and trials and it seems like deliverance is nowhere in sight. Praying, talking to Jesus, believing He will keep His promises, and most of all, knowing that He has the power to do what He said in His word, brings hope, joy, peace and patience. In that, we learn how to wait on Him. (Hebrews 11:1, Romans 15:4, James 1:3-4)

We know that God so love us so much that He gave His only begotten son Jesus; who came before us to affirm that we could make it through Him. (John 3:16, Romans 8:3-17) If we just hold on, we can make it! Jesus is Real! (John 3:16, Romans 8:3-17, John 3:16).

BIRTHDAYS

Usher’s Annual Day—April 3rd

On April 3rd, our Usher’s Department celebrated another year of service and dedication unto God and to the church. Under the leadership of Sis. Jean Marshall, president, and Sister Vera Coleman, vice-president the department continues to successfully greet, welcome and meet the needs of our guests and members. Their labor of love is evident in the smiles and concerns that welcome us into the house of the Lord. Ushers your faithfulness is not forgotten, but God has a record, and He will reward you accordingly. May the blessings of the Lord ever be upon each of you. We pray for a spirit-filled and prosperous year ahead. Thank you for the sacrifices and for helping to make the Temple what God would have it to be. Be blessed.

TEMPLE YOUTH SPEAK SUBMITTED BY: SIS. IMANI LEWIS

Baptismal Ceremony - March 27th Acts 2:38

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and

ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Brother Markel Groomes and Sister Arielle Winn were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Elder Tim Williams and Deacon Joseph Jackson performed the ceremony. Many onlookers rejoiced as they witnessed the confession of faith by these two individuals. We pray that God will continue to move in their hearts as they start their new journey in the Lord. The Temple of Deliverance pledges to be a support to them and to encourage them along the way. Our prayer is that God will cover, instruct and keep them in the path of righteous. Congratulation, upon making this important and blessed decision. God will never leave you nor forsake you. Lean on Him. He will not let you fall. Keep them in prayer.

God wants me to be myself

For He created me this way,

And since God made me who I am,

Myself I'm quite content to stay.

In His eyes I'm good enough -

It matters not what others say;

I need not act as if I'm tough

Or copy other children's ways.

God doesn't care if I'm not cool -

If I'm not stronger; thinner;

In His hands I am a tool

To reach out to another sinner.

Though I am still young and small

In Jesus Christ I'm strong and tall;

So when people look at me

May it be God's own Son they see.

A R E G I V E R S ’ C “GIFTS” (Posted by Sharon )~Excerpts http://christiancaregiving.blogspot.com/

We often associate gifts with special occasions like birthdays and Christmas, but there are gifts that we are able to receive any time of year. As with every gift, however, we have to open our hands to receive it; otherwise, the gift does not benefit us or give us any joy. The best gifts we can receive, however, are the gifts God desires for us! The Lord offers us the gift of salvation. He further offers us the accompanying gifts of joy, peace, and hope. They are ours for the taking; and yes, dear Christian caregiver, they can coexist with the pain and heartache which often are present in family care-giving. Further, the Lord promises us a happy ending. That happy ending is eternal life. Christian caregiver, the heartaches that sometimes accompany care-giving are but a comma in your life story. They are not the end. They are not the end of your loved one’s life story, either. Further, we are able to receive the gift of trust in God. We receive this gift by resting in Him and by letting go of anything we are holding on to too tightly or trying to control. As a former caregiver, I know how much we want to stop the progress of our love one’s disease, but much of this is beyond our control. Forgiving others who have not been there for us is a

great gift we can give ourselves, as well as them. We are further able to receive the gift of forgiveness for ourselves. We must give the Lord any true wrongs and ask for His forgiveness. We often carry around a lot of false guilt about things beyond our control, however. So whether false guilt or true guilt, we need to let it go and give it to the Lord. Dear caregiver, receive the gift of releasing it to the Lord. One great gift we can give ourselves is the gift of acceptance of our situation. We often waste so much energy wishing circumstances were different, but we can rest assured that we are right where we are supposed to be in our lives. Dear Christian caregiver, your responsibilities are emotionally overwhelming at times; but in the measure that you are able to accept where God has placed you now in your life, you will find joy. It is a great gift to give yourself. Yet another wonderful gift we can give ourselves is the gift of being still in the presence of God (Psalm 46:10). Doing this helps us grow in peace, wisdom, and insights. Finally, we can give ourselves the gift of gratitude. When we are grateful in spite of our circumstances, our joy and blessings will multiply and resentments will flee.
