STAGE DIRECTION EXPERIENCE

Temple College Opera Workshop- Director- 2011 to present • Develop acting and stage skills for young singers• Improvisation, stage movement, character development and advanced stage deportment• Opera history, performance practice, research, music preparation• Choose appropriate scenes for individuals in class (including dual credit HS students)• Stage director for 6-10 scenes per semester, includes the following technical disciplines:

Properties Design and Coordination, (Includes location of and arrangements for loan of materials from multiple institutions both for and not for profit. Perform necessary fabrication, re-fabrication and maintenance of all items in this area. Contract for fabrication of more complex or specific items when needed.)

Set Design, Execution & Construction, (Make all arrangements in these areas including contracts for more extensive construction.)

Costumes (Includes conceptual work, location and coordination, purchase of and/or borrowing of all costumes and related materials from not-for-profit organizations plus any necessary alterations.)
