Southern Illawarra Music Festival SIMF – Mass rehearsal at Grand Hall –University of Wollongong. Students depart from school at 8.50 am return 3.00 pm. Evening performance children dropped off at Grand Hall at 6.15 pm. Performance starts 7.00 pm sharp. Junior Music Choir performing at Hayes Park – students from K/1S (1’s only), 1/2P and 1/2C. Depart School 11 am- Return School 2 pm. Parents welcome!

New school shirts will be issued to 1 and 2 choir students on Thursday.

Koonawarra Public School International Talk Like a Pirate Day

September 19, 2016.

Dear Parents,

September 19th is International Talk like a Pirate

Day.

We are going to have a 'Fun Day' where Kindergarten to

Year Two students may dress as their favourite Pirate.

Normal lessons will take place, however a few fun

classroom activities are also planned to heighten the student's enjoyment.

On the day, don’t forget to

talk like a pirate!

Ahoy m’hearties, SeptembARrrrr 19th be International speak like a

scurvy Pirate Day.

We be goin' to have 'a Ruckas Day' whar th’ littl’ns may dress as their favourite

scurvy pirate.

Normal lessons gunna take place, however a few a

ruckas classroom activities be also planned to heighten th'

learner’s enjoyment.

On th' day, don’t forget to be talk’n like a scurvy pirate!
