I am excited to begin my first newsletter for Grade 3A for the year 2014-2015. Thanks to The Apple International School for giving me this opportunity. This school places a high value on creating an ideal atmosphere for nurturing the talents and catering to the educational needs and developing the overall personality of the children coming under the shade of the Apple campus. Although a parent’s role in their children’s learning evolves as kids grow, one thing remains constant: we are our children’s learning models. Our attitudes about education can inspire theirs and show them how to take charge of their own educational journey. This term, yet again, all Grade 3 classes will be working closely together in Spelling and Grammar lessons, Literacy Groups etc. Homework will continue on a daily basis. Students will continue to write their homework in their Homework Diary. They will be required to do reading (15 minutes) and practice spellings on daily basis.

Clean Health Campaign began in the first week of Oct ’14. In order to observe this, volunteers from Dettol School Hand wash Program visited the School……….

Investiture ceremony of Year 3&4 ………

Christien Dale from year 3A was selected as student council member

The next biggest event in our school year is the Al Afdal Awards’ ceremony –.

One of our present 3A Students, Fiel Francis received an award for Full Attendance. This event was conducted on 2nd of Oct ’14.

Breast cancer awareness week ,,,,,,,,,,,,

The students of Year 3A preparing hand bands for their loving mothers, aunties and teachers

Our field Trip to Adventure land………..

In the coming weeks we celebrated , Islamic week, Sports Day and UAE Day.

The colourful UAE Day was celebrated on 1st of Dec 2014.
