Section 1

Introduction

Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) was established under the WAF Promulgation 2007 and is responsible for

the delivery of quality drinking water and wastewater services throughout Fiji.

WAF invites written tenders for renovation of three WAF staff quarters located at Navakai Depot (1) and

Vatutu (2) Nadi.

Section 2

WATER AUTHORITY OF FIJI TENDERSGENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The Water Authority of Fiji Tender Conditions, the company particulars required and thespecification requirements attached will apply to this tender.

2. Tenderer/s responding to this tender must be of good repute and should be in a position toprovide the Water Authority of Fiji with quality transactional services. A brief history of thecompany’s background shall also be submitted.

3. Tenderers are to quote their VAT inclusive price including collection charges.

4. Where prescribed forms are provided these must be completed with relevant information andfurnished with other tender documents accordingly, as part of the tender requirements.

5. Tenderer to note that by tendering the bidder is taken to have authorized WAF to inspect theirYard office, or other premises and access any information (including financial) it may sorequire.

6. In the event that a tenderer seeks to put in a bid in conjunction with another person, evidenceof the business relationship in the form of a partnership agreement, joint venture agreementor supply contracts or like documentation would be necessary to demonstrate the ability tofulfill the tender to the satisfaction of the WAF Major Tender Board.

7. Right is reserved to make award to the Tenderer whose tender is considered mostadvantageous to WAF.

8. Right is reserved to split the award amongst tenders to cater for order on the basis ofspecified areas or instructions.

9. Right is reserved to terminate the services of the successful tenderer in the event of unduedelay in delivery or unsatisfactory supplier performance.

10. Tenderers to submit their bids on their official letter heads, clearly written or typed, signedwith all relevant contact details clearly specified. Tender will be regarded as invalid if there isany alteration and use of white ink.

11. The successful bidder may enter into a contract with WAF after the tender is been awarded.

12. All information submitted will be kept strictly confidential and will be used only for thepurposes of the tender award.

13. Late tender/s will not be considered.

14. Any price increase/decrease after the close of tender will not be considered.

15. Any tender not complying with these conditions may be rejected.

16. All conditions listed herein shall form part of the contract whenever a contract arrangement isdrawn up between the successful tenderers and WAF.

17. Tenderer/s failing to comply with the above terms and conditions and requirements of thetender may render their offers invalid.

18. The validity of the quotation should be 90 days.

Term of Reference

1. All renovation material should be of ideal quality materials.

2. The duration of the work should be within 4 – 5 weeks.

3. The bidder will be required to visit the site to quote materials based on the scope of work in

Annex 1. The schedule site visit date is on Saturday 17 October 2015.

4. Three staff Quarters will be renovated at Navakai (1) and Vatutu (2) Quarters and shall be

quoted separately.

5. The payment terms for the total cost of the project are as follows:
