Effective January 15th we began signing off on Sunday morning in- stead of Monday morning. The reason for th i s change i s the feeling that people are relying mure on our s ta t ion for information early Monday than on Sunday. Also from time to time, i f the s i tuat ion warrants, we will remain on the a i r and postpone our maintenance schedule until the follow- ing week,.
Regarding your inquiry of a pre-sunrise authorization of 500 watts, WAVE has never had such an authorization. A t one time we had a pre-sun- r i s e authorization t o r u n a t reduced power, approximately 4600 watts, which was l a t e r terminated. The FCC a t tha t time offered us a 500 w a t t pre-sunrise authorization, but we f e l t we could bet ter serve our coverage area with our present directional pattern.
