2. M.E. Lactation: Mature equivalent lactation. By the use of special factors the lactation is adjusted for age to that of a mature cow. Unless the cow is mature, the M.E. lactation will be larger than the actual lactation record. If mature, both lactation records will be the same
3. Projected ME Lactation: The lactation record for a cow extended to 305 days in milk, adjusted for age at calving to a mature cow bases and adjusted to a twice a day milking basis if milked more than twice a day.
4. Somatic Cell Count: (SCC) a count of the white blood cells in a milliliter of milk. A normal count is generally to be 300,000 or less.
5. Strings: A group of cows. The grouping may be by breed, sire, ownership, stage of lactation, age or for other reasons determined by the dairyman

Requesting Extra Copies – When the animals in the herd are have different owner, allow an original reports – also ITP – Owner/Sample must provide ADGA Original Reports – this allows the herd owner to keep an original. Herd owner doesn’t live at the farm allows reports at the farm and home. To request a copy put number in the box to the right
