7th Annual Vintage Crystal: Sip and Salsa
September 15, 2012
Overview
The 7th Annual Vintage Crystal: Sip and Salsa took place on Sunday, September 15th, 2013 from
2PM – 6PM at 220 20th Street South. This year, to meet demand, the Crystal City BID expanded
the festival’s footprint, resulting in 40 delicious sips from Spain, Chile, and Argentina for the
thousands of attendees to taste. To round out the palette, area restaurants and eateries
provided delicious bites for the guests. Jaleo’s giant paella demonstration was as popular as
always, and Tommy McFly from FRESH 94.7 kept the guest entertained.
Food and wine were complemented by fantastic music and entertainment. Many attendees
danced with The Salsa Room and Trio Caliente. The Washington Wine Academy led educational
wine classes twice every hour for those interested in learning more about wine.
Partners
For the 7th Annual Vintage Crystal: Sip and Salsa, the Crystal City Business Improvement District partnered with DC Magazine, Jaleo, The Salsa Room, the Washington Wine Academy, and the Crystal City Wine Shop.
