We are delighted to share this report on philanthropy at Maine Central Institute (MCI) with you. MCI Philanthropy: Shaping the Future is dedicated to the donors – alumni, parents, friends and students – who contributed to all areas of MCI including the Annual Fund and the Founders Campaign between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017.

During this twelve-month period, 844 donors gave a combined $1,456,010 to support the Schools’ mission, as well as the historic Founders Campaign, which has raised the largest gift total compared to any previous capital campaign at MCI. We are especially grateful to those who have supported both MCI’s Annual Fund and the Founders Campaign. We look forward to completing the $6.5 million Founders Campaign.

Donors to the Founders Campaign have already contributed more financial support than any other campaign in MCI’s history. Their support has created the new Visual and Performing Arts Education Center in JR Cianchette Hall and added three new multipurpose athletic fields on campus.

Funds raised through the Founders Campaign will strengthen MCI’s programming in academics, arts and athletics and increase the School’s endowment. The goal for the campaign is $6.5 million.
