There is an enormous push tounify the religious world.

Evangelicalism is defined asbeing a christian church

believing in personalconversion and the inerrancyof the Bible, especially the 4Gospels

Unity in Diversity

1Corinthians 12.12 For as thebody is one, and hath manymembers, and all themembers of that one body,

being many are one body: soalso is Christ.

Vs. 18 but now God hath setthe members every one ofthem in the body, as it hathpleased him.

Vs. 25 That there should beno schism in the body, but thatthe members should have thesame care one for another

Two Contents/ One Reality The contents of the world

standard has opted forunity. It is how to obtainthat unity that is at stake.

The real dilemma for us isthe definition of diversity.

Diversity in the worldstandard has beendefined as you are

different from me and weaccept that.

The gathering spoken ofin Ephesians 1.10 has onlyone focus. That is theperson of Jesus Christ.

This the one reality, thatany other gatheringoutside of this gatheringis deceptive anddestructive in nature.

The two components ofthis gathering are Truthand Holiness

Our world has theingredients for unity asLove and Experience.

Truth has becomesubjective and what isright for you is right foryou.

This changes the natureof biblical unity fromcalled out to all

inclusive

Truth crosses allpersonal lines ofinterpretation and life.

Holiness is the mandatefor what that truthproduces in us.

This creates one reality

which is objective in theperson of Jesus Christ.

In this context, therewould never be schismor the need to set asideour differences,because you could thinkor be what you wantedand it would beaccepted under the

guise of love.

The reality of thisgathering is that thereare differences, andthere is conflict.

We humble ourselvesunto the calling of JesusChrist and His words.The New Testament is acomposite of thoseconflicts and therecorrections.

Diversity, The Miracle of the Body

Personal Unity is a pre-requisite of Body Unity

Love is the motivation for keeping on keeping on.Love can only be defined by God. It is whatenables us to move into this unity. Wereciprocate love to God as it is shed abroad in ourhearts by the Holy Spirit.

It is what keeps us from throwing in the towel onthis world, and motivates us towards eternal life

for all in spite of how they irritate us. The value ofa human life is worth forgiving, and changing ouragendas.

Diversity, The Miracle of the Body

The failure in our world to resolve conflict andhurt has left us with individualism andisolationism.

The trend of the 21st century is to agree that weare just no good, stay away from peoplebecause all they do is hurt us. We communicatefrom empty rooms and electronic outlets.Courage is lost in faceless conversations.

The value of humanity is no longer defined by thestory of The Velveteen Rabbit but by Inpenatrable Translucent Houses

James 3. 13-17 Who is a wise man and

endued with knowledge among you? Let him

show out of a good conversation his works

with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have

bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory

not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom

descendeth not from above, but is earthly,sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife

is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Earthly egigeios defined as here on this

earth or relating to earth, life

Sensual translates to soul power, that which is

contrived of our mind will and emotions

Devilish translates to demonic, or resembling

the activity of a demon

If you fail to resolve conflict or things in your lifefor God, you are opening the door to division. Ibelieve that division is progressive in nature just

as any seed planted by the enemy. The life of Peter

Matthew 18. 21 The came Peter to him, and

said Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against

me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesussaith unto him, I say unto thee, Until seven times:but Until seventy times seven

Peter evaluates things that are happening

from an earthly paradigm

Was Peter trying to impact the plan of God

based on his soul power. His intellect, his plan

his defense.

Peters denial was plan of the devil to destroy

him. A crisis of demonic activity to save

Where are we at, we have been commanded

to be one. This one involves inter-personal

relationships from our natural families to our

church family.

The devil wants to destroy our unity that is

love based and Jesus driven.
