We lcome to the ECMM2015

Dear all, on behalf of the National Advisory Board and the Local Organising Committee we would like to welcome you to the 5th European Conference on Molecular Magnetism 2015 (ECMM2015) that will be held in Zaragoza, Spain, from the 6th to 10th of September 2015.

After ECMM2006 in Tomar (Portugal), ECMM2009 in Wroclaw (Poland), ECMM2011 in Paris (France) and ECMM2013 in Karlsruhe (Germany, ECMM2015 aims to continue this series of International Conferences organised as part of the activities of the European Institute of Molecular Magnetism. It will offer a European forum to interested scientists from around the world to present and discuss research results in all aspects related to molecular magnetism. The Conference will consist of plenary and invited lectures plus oral talks and poster presentations providing an ideal background for scientific interactions and interchange of ideas.

The city of Zaragoza was founded more than 2000 years ago by the roman emperor Caesar Augustus. Throughout its rich history three important cultures: Christian, Muslim and Hebraic, in addition to the roman have contributed to its open personality and left an extraordinary monumental legacy. Zaragoza University, which was founded in the year 1542, is among the most prestigious Spanish Universities with more than 33,0000 students, 2300 postgraduates and 9 research institutes.

Such historic and cultural elements together with an excellent meeting venue will certainly contribute to creating the right environment for the conference purposes.

Looking forward to seeing you at the ECMM2015 in Zaragoza!

Fernando Palacio

Chairman
