The 6 Figure Agency Blueprint  In this guide we’re going to break down the 3 MAJOR steps for creating a 6 figure marketing agency. Our goal is to have a steady stream of prospective businesses that turn into recurring clients all the while keeping fulfillment push-button simple. Once you get to the 6 figure mark we’ll teach you how to grow that to 7 figures but first – let’s focus on building to that $100,000 mark.  

Every marketing agency (big and small) boils down to three main pieces: lead generation, lead conversion and client fulfillment.* (include source in footer)  

In this blueprint, we’ll give you ideas and examples for each piece of the puzzle. We’re developing a three part video series which will teach EXACTLY what we do for each step and how to achieve amazing results.  

Step 1 - Lead Generation  This conveniently breaks down into 3 parts for every business.  1

You’re going to need some hustle here initially. As a brand new business, you are going to have to generate a few leads that you can build off of. The good news is almost everyone has these connections through everyday living!  

Your goal is to find 1- 3 business that you can get results with.

How do you get them results? Good question! It depends on what services you can fulfill on. We’ll cover this more in Step 3. For now we just need those leads.  

So we recommend starting locally. Dentists, doctors, chiropractors, boutiques, and lawyers are a few good examples of local businesses that may be in your immediate circle. If not, take a minute a brainstorm what businesses you interact with on a daily / weekly basis.  

Not sure your private network is large enough for this? No worries. We’ll show you a way to get 25-50 leads a day in the coming pages.  

Once you’ve exhausted your organic network, you are ready to scale our lead generation and start getting referrals.  

Referrals are typically the BEST clients and EASIEST sales. There is no doubt about it; word of mouth sells. There are two major ways to maximize your referral opportunities. 1. Set your pricing model to include referrals (which no one does!) and 2.You’ll want to leverage the results you got for those initial clients and leverage your relationship with them for referrals and introductions.  

Once you’ve got a few clients and a referral process in place, it’s time to scale your lead generation methods. Most agencies leverage software at this point to automatically generate leads. Personally, we recommend this as well.

We’re all a little afraid to pick up the phone and try to make that sale. But what we don’t realize is we’re making sales everyday. Whether it's negotiating a job promotion, convincing a loved one to do work around the house or you’re pushing for discount a retailer – it's all sales.  

One of the EASIEST methods we’ve found for selling is the Trust Trigger method.  

Selling businesses an initial low cost (yet high value) service is the BEST way to make the sale and, most importantly, build the relationship. The first sale is the most difficult one to make regardless of what business you’re in. The key to the Trust Trigger method is to get your foot in the door.  

Trust Triggers exist for almost every industry.

SEO services? Run an SEO report on the company and their competitors and sell it for $97.  

Reputation Marketing services? Run a reputation report on the company and their competitors and sell it for $97.  

PPC services? Do a campaign audit of what they’re currently doing.  

There’s a reason your local mechanic runs a diagnostic report on your car for a small fee before charging you more.

Now you’ve generated the leads, set up a meeting and have your Trust Trigger to sell, then what’s last?  

Time to close!  

For some this is the most exciting part. For others this is where nightmares are made – either way, we’ve got you covered! We’ve put together our best word-for-word sales scripts, responsible for converting over 1,000 sales every month, as a special package for you.  

*An important side note. Don’t reinvent the wheel here. This is where even some of the best FAIL. The scripts we are giving you are PROVEN to be successful by agencies and businesses – big or small, alike.  

Step 3 - Client Fulfillment  The ultimate necessary evil of any agency business and a ‘problem’ we LIKE to have. Why? We’ll explain.  

On a basic level there are 3 main types of fulfillment: Manual Fulfillment, Hired Fulfillment and Automatic Fulfillment.  

Manual Fulfillment is a service or product you provide. It’s usually the fastest & cheapest way to start, but least scalable of the three models. Good for startup and early stage agencies. Ultimately, you’ll have difficulty reaching the 6 figure mark this way.  

Hired Fulfillment is just what it sounds like, hiring someone else to manage the fulfillment. You’ll still have to provide a service or

product but someone else will do the dirty work. This isn’t a terrible middle ground between Manual and Automatic. Hiring isn’t an easy task and, moreover, you have to make 100% sure the deliverable from them is quality. Finding the right help and training them takes up way too much time and money.  

Automatic Fulfillment is the ultimate setup of the three. Regardless of what industry we enter, we leverage software to automatically handle fulfillment. Now nothing is truly 100% automated but if we are wise we can automate well over 75% of the work. This is the easiest and most effective path to scale up to the six figure mark.
