The Ability Am Charity Golf Tournament

From 2001-2011, the PenAm, a premier competitive tournament, provided a prestigious platform to raise awareness for The Arc of the Virginia Peninsula, now known as VersAbility Resources. VersAbility supports nearly 1,400 people annually in employment, day support, community living, and early childhood programs.

Reformatted in 2012, The PenAm became The Ability Am Charity Golf Tournament and is hosted at Cedar Point Country Club. This signature tournament for the Hampton Roads area raises funds and awareness for VersAbility and people with disabilities.

The format features: 4-person teams Play your own ball Team score is best two of the foursome at each hole Gross and net winners (Two flights)

19th Hole Cocktail Reception and Awards Ceremony

After a great day of golf, participants, spouses, and guests are invited to join us at the 19th Hole Cocktail Reception and Awards Ceremony! This event includes Cedar Points delicious dinner buffet, acoustic music, and a cash bar. The reception starts at 5:30 p.m. and the Awards Ceremony will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. All golfers will receive complimentary tickets to the event and additional tickets can be purchased for $35.
