MISSION STATEMENT

Atlantic’s mission is to be the leading provider of affordable solutions in furnishings, organizational storage, acoustics, and consumer electronics accessories for both consumer and commercial markets. Style and function with uncompromising quality and value are the hallmarks of Atlantic.

Ingenuity, productivity and devotion to creating the next innovation drives Atlantic’s development of products to meet the growing demand and expectations for home, office, and retail environments.

TIMELINE

In 1985, Atlantic Representations Inc. was founded with a unique collection of kitchen tools and wire storage solutions. Continually innovating with the times, Atlantic developed media storage products for Cassettes, VHS and CD markets, and then later the DVD market at the height of their popularity. By 1991, Atlantic had 300 different media storage products and renamed itself, Atlantic, Inc.

In an effort to maintain a closer and more efficient working relationship with our factories, Atlantic established an office in Shenzhen, China in 2002. The China office is staffed with a team that manages logistics, quality control, scheduling, shipping, product development and international sales.

In 2003, in response to the growing home gaming phenomenon, Atlantic created a brand of game storage and accessory products called GameKeeper®. To this day game storage and organization furniture remains a key category. In 2005 Atlantic located its headquarters to the current location in Santa Fe Springs, California.

The growth of digital MP3 music players launched the innovative EGO® brand of por-table waterproof speaker systems for Apple iPods. EGO was a selected feature on Oprah Winfrey’s “Favorite Things” segment in 2008.

That same year, Atlantic introduced a collection of affordable multimedia furniture products that were enriched with the innovative blending of steel, glass, and wood materials, as well as a variety of finishes.

Flat panel TV wall mounts and multimedia accessories were added into the product line in 2012. TV wall mounts continue to drive the success of Atlantic as flat screen televisions become less expensive and increase in popularity and size.

In 2013 a collection of millennial furniture was created in response to the growing market for fashionable home furnishings designed for small spaces at affordable prices. Products include storage items, seating, accent furniture, folding tray tables, and carts.

In 2014 Atlantic licensed the North American exclusive sales and distribution rights for Snowsound®, a state of the art line of Italian designed and manufactured acoustic sound absorbing panels, effectively creating the Atlantic division, Snowsound® USA.

Today, Atlantic has grown its suite of products to include audio and video accessories, media consoles, media and gaming storage solutions, urban small-space decor and organization solutions, as well as award winning acoustic solutions. The company actively promotes its products at industry tradeshows; CES, CEDIA, NeoCon and the Las Vegas Furniture Market.

LEADERSHIP

Since founding Atlantic in 1985, Leo has been an active member of various boards and organizations, including the Consumer Technol-ogy Association (CTA) Accessories Board where he has served as a board member since 2005. Leo has contributed to the development of the accessories category by partnering with various member companies since 2002. In addition, Leo has authored eleven articles for Dealerscope and TWICE magazines, addressing products and strategies for consumer technology dealers. Leo has actively participated in the Young Presidents’ Organization since 2002 and is now an active member of World Presi-dents’ Organization.

Most recently, Leo was instrumental in gaining the North American sales and distribution rights to the Italian manufactured Snowsound® acoustic sound absorbing panels.

Leo started his career as a degreed Civil Engineer in 1978, and has been honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award from California State University, Los Angeles. Leo is also a horologist and avid collector of vintage Omega watches.

North America

Michael joined Atlantic in 2013 at the inception of the Snowsound ven-ture in North America, leading day-to-day operations. Snowsound is a global brand and an award winning leader in the architectural acoustic products market. Michael has been instrumental in helping companies see the value of acoustic solutions, leading to high profile installations at Starbucks, NASDAQ, and many of the largest technology, financial and engineer-ing firms in the world. He brings a valuable background, including a business education and past professional involvement with numerous Fortune 500 companies. Michael graduated from the USC Marshall School of Business with magna cum laude honors. He gained extensive corporate experience working as an advisory consultant at Ernst & Young prior to his current Snowsound leadership role.

DISTRIBUTION

Using both a direct sales force and network of sales representatives, Atlantic and its divisions sell products worldwide through a diverse distribution network. In the U.S., products are available from a growing list of mass and mid-tier retailers, including Home Goods, Amazon, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Best Buy, Target, Home Depot, JCPenney, Kmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Office Depot/Office Max, and many others. The retail base comprises the majority of the most popular retailers in the U.S.

International sales are guided through retail chains and distributors in Europe, Mexico, South America, the Middle East, Asia and Canada.

Atlantic’s diverse experience selling throughout six continents provides the company with rich insights into the emerging consumer trends and preferences. In addition, extensive research and product development play a key role in establishing the latest styling and features within the product offerings.

CAMPUSES

Atlantic’s 155,000 square-foot warehouse and distribution hub is equipped with the latest in automated fulfillment technology, flow racks, photo eyes, multiple shipping stations, and six high volume conveyor lines with a processing and shipping capacity of up to 15,000 packages per day.

The company’s vibrant corporate headquarters and warehouse is located in sunny Santa Fe Springs, California, and is also home for product design, marketing, sales, customer support and distribution.

The Shenzen, China office is the center for experienced logistics, quality control, scheduling, shipping, product development, and factory liaison specialists. Frequent video conferences with product development and purchasing teams in Santa Fe Springs facilitate expeditious results to meet retailer specifications.

INNOVATION

Since 1985, Atlantic has continued to meet the demands of an ever-evolving market place through products that provide style and function with quality and value. The dedication to market research and understanding developing trends with mixed materials has allowed the company to stay ahead and grow with an innovative spirit.

Atlantic’s product development designers and consultants leverage the latest software tools and modeling techniques to create the next innovative products. The latest design programs include Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and 3-D modeling software. Complex virtual product designs are validated with rapid prototyping technology to create functional solid samples from CAD data. Engineering and injection molding expertise combined with highly trained technicians who inspect products at every stage ensure the highest levels of finish quality.

Atlantic is diligently incorporating new eco-friendly methods and meeting regulatory requirements to reduce chemical content.

Atlantic’s product innovation history has produced numerous patents and awards, including several Design and Engineering Showcase Honors from the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Innovations Committee and Best of NeoCon Silver Award honors for technology and design in the architectural products category.
