Schwab Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Deadline: Varies by country  Schwab partners with local media and institutions to

recognize social entrepreneurs working to transform

traditional practices of social change and sponsors the

awardees’ attendance at the World Economic Forum. 

Since each country has its own deadline for this award, we

do not centrally organize nominations from the global

office. We are happy to help edit application materials as

NYU Reynolds Program in Social Entrepreneurship Deadline: November to January (depending on school)The NYU Reynolds Graduate Fellowship is open to newstudents applying to any full-time, two-year master’sdegree program at NYU beginning September 2011.Fellows will receive up to $25,000 for each of twoyears of study and an intensive two-year curricular and co-curricular program designed to help prepare them to bethe next generation of social entrepreneurial leaders.

Nieman Journalism Fellowships at Harvard

University  Deadline: December 15 to January 31st  (December 15th is thefirst deadline)

The Nieman Fellowships in Global Health Reporting will beawarded to two journalists who are committed to globalhealth reporting and whose news organizations share thatcommitment. One fellowship will go to a journalist who isa U.S. citizen and one will go to a non-U.S. citizen. Fellowsbegin their academic year at Harvard University in mid-August.
