Welcome to this year’s Best of South Kitsap readers’ choice awards special edition.

Every year I look forward to this publication and this year is no exception. The Best of South Kitsap is a reflection of businesses and people in the community that have made a positive impact on residents in the area who have taken the time to vote on various categories and to showcase the Best of South Kitsap.

From the best burgers and mexican food to massage therapists and local artists, there are more than 50 categories showcasing the area’s best as voted on by readers of the Port Orchard Independent in this year’s contest.

This year, as in years past, we have some new winners and finalists as well as perennial favorites such as South Park Pharmacy, Amy’s on the Bay

and Vlist Motors to name a few. Whatever your personal favorites in South Kitsap are, you’ll find more than 150 businesses, people and places featured in this year’s Best of SK special edition, which really does say a lot about our wonderful community.
