Friday 13th October 2017

Arrive into Johannesburg International Airport.

You will be met by your personalized VIP escort and assisted through immigration, then escorted to your check-

in gate for your connecting flight to Cape Town. Your personalized VIP escort will be available to assist you

with any queries you may have.

On arrival at Johannesburg Airport you will be met by our VIP team at the door of your aircraft. They will assist

you through immigration and customs, delivering you to the check-in gate for your connecting flight to Cape

located in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The Waterfront is situated at the edge of the City Bowl, under Table

Saturday 14th October 2017

SIGHTSEEING: Spectacular Cape Town!

Depart the city for the Lower Cableway Station to board the

revolving cable car for a 5-minute ride to the top of Table

Mountain. 1036 meters above sea level, it affords bird’s-eye

views of both city and Peninsula as you walk its summit

(weather permitting).

Return to the city via the old Cape Malay Quarter, for a walk

through the Company Gardens, the fresh produce gardens for

ships and locals from the mid-17th Century and today, home to

the SA Museum, Cultural History Museum, Houses of Parliament,

National Gallery and St George’s Cathedral.

Stroll through the city to Greenmarket Square to browse African

mementos at its bustling market stalls. Lunch is included.

Cape Town provides the epitome of old world charm and luxury. Tonight we will celebrate the commencement

of the Tour at our Welcome Dinner, which will be a fun-filled evening. There is always great anticipation and

Sunday 15th October 2017

SIGHTSEEING: Surrounding regions of Cape Town!

Depart the city along the spectacular Atlantic Seaboard, en

route to the fishing village of Hout Bay. Continue over the

600m heights of Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the world’s

most breath-taking passes and past the Cape’s longest

beach, with a chance to spot Southern Right Whales just

offshore from June to November.

Enter the Cape of Good Hope National Park for a walk (or

optional funicular ride) up to the Cape Point Lighthouse, to

take in magical ocean vistas at this, the south westernmost

point of Africa. Head along the False Bay coast to Boulders

Beach near Simons Town to see a colony of African Penguins

and then continue past the seaside resorts of False Bay,

towards the city. The last stop of the day is Kirstenbosch

Botanical Gardens, for a walk through one of the largest

collections of indigenous plants in the world.

A lunch stop will be made enroute, included in the tour price.

GOLF : Steenberg Golf Club

Play today at Steenberg. An 18-hole championship

course designed by Peter Matkovich; a backdrop of

vineyards, gardens, forests and mountains provides the

setting for this beautiful exclusive course. The course is

always in excellent condition with bent grass greens and

lush fairways. Steenberg offers you the opportunity of

excellent golf within the historic setting of one of the

Cape's oldest wine farms. Dating back to 1682 the

vineyards have been replanted and 140 acres are now

under vines. Steeped in the Cape Dutch tradition, history

has an elegant, almost tangible quality at Steenberg




For our non-golfers:

Explore more of the city bowl, Cape Malay area and the

Constantia winelands. You will join the golfing members

of the group at Steenberg Winery after completion of their

golf for tapas and sundowners at the Steenberg Wine

Tuesday 17th October 2017

GOLF: Pearl Valley Golf Club

Travel by luxury land transfer today (approximately 45

minutes) to play Pearl Valley. Set in the famous

Franschhoek Wine region, this Jack Nicklaus Signature

Course is a treat to play, with outstanding conditioning

and slick bent grass greens. As with many Nicklaus

courses, water on the right with plenty of sand will keep

the golfers mind off the wide landing areas provided.

Enjoy a little more time around the waterfront before

heading out in the winelands to explore a few more a little

more. Fairview farm with it’s chocolatier, brewery, glass

blowing and food options will a good place for lunch and

some exploring. The golfers will join up for sundowners on

an estate before rolling over the Helshoogte Pass into

Stellenbosch.

Dinner this evening is included at the magnificent

Lanzerac Estate winery, widely regarded as one of South

Africa’s best dining experiences.

Friday 20th October 2017

GOLF : Pinnacle Point

Today play Pinnacle Point. Magnificently perched atop

staggering cliffs, this windswept course marks a major addition

to South Africa’s already world-class golf scene. Six of the holes

play across deep chasms to greens that seem to float in the

Indian Ocean. The yawning ravines and distant horizons can

make 150-yard shots look like twice that length. On the par-four

eighth, tee and green sit on opposing bluffs; big hitters can

attempt an all-or-nothing carry. (carts included).


Explore Mossel Bay followed by a guided tour of the caves

under the golf course.

Recently discovered, these excavations are now thought to be

home to some of the earliest populations of modern humans

known to exist. A very safe and enthralling tour!

Dinner: Die Vette Mossel (The Fat Mussel)

If you want to get the best taste of Garden Route cuisine and

ambiance prepared in true West Coast style, De Vette Mossel

in Groot Brak is a must-visit.

Food is prepared on open fires in front of you, and you will

probably leave with a few new 'Mossel' friends.

You can expect bucket loads of mussel meat, West Coast style

snoek with sweet sweet potato, a seafood pot made with 4

types of fish, calamari, cleaned prawn tails, meat potjie, catch

of the day, West Coast rock lobster, calamari steak, all topped

off with proudly South African koeksisters.

GOLF : Fancourt – The Links

Created from a previously flat piece of land, over 700 000

cubic metres of earth was moved in transforming it into a

typical Links style. The course presents undulating windswept

terrain and dune-style landscape and is the only such course

in South Africa. Every hole is perfectly balanced in terms of

length, position of hazards and shot values are in harmony.

Thus the Links presents a stern test in all weather conditions.

This is a walking course with caddies, and is ranked 1 in South

Africa. Host course of the 2003 Presidents Cup, 2005 Women's

World Cup and 2006 South African Open. Caddie fee is

included.


Depart Fancourt and head over the Outeniqua Pass and into

the Klein Karoo. Visit the ostrich farms at Oudshoorn and the

spectacular Cango Caves, one of the greatest “show caves

in the world. Head up and over the Swartberg Pass to the

small town of Prince Albert, where you can enjoy afternoon

tea. The drive back is 2hrs, but takes you through the

incredible Meiringspoort Pass.

GOLF : Fancourt -The Monatgu

Today play Fancourt - The Montagu. Designed by Gary

Player and remodelled in 2004 by David McKlay-Kidd

(Bandon Dunes) the Montagu is South Africa's best

parkland golf course. With the highest levels of

conditioning and true championship layout, The

Montagu at Fancourt sets the standard by which all other

courses in South Africa are measured. Carts or caddies.

For our non-golfers: Tour Knysna

The beautiful town of Knysna is situated within 157,000

hectares of the proclaimed Garden Route National Park.

Nestled between the pristine Knysna estuary, Indian

Ocean and beautiful indigenous forest, home to a

myriad of wild- and birdlife as well as the famed Cape

fynbos. You will also visit the elephant sanctuary, and

Monkey Land.

Golfers will rejoin the group for a 4pm Lagoon Cruise, with

bubbles and oysters, before enjoying dinner at Knysna

Waterfront Restaurant.


Monday 23rd October 2017

This morning fly from George to Johannesburg. Here your golf bags will be collected and stored whilst you are

on safari. Connect to Skukuza airport, located in the heart of the Kruger National Park. Jock Lodge transport

will meet you at the airport and transfer you the 45 minutes through the Park to the Lodge.

Arrive in time for afternoon tea and orientation

before the evening safari activities begin. Jock Safari

lodge is located on a private concession in the

famous Kruger National Park, in an area well known

for excellent game viewing. It is designed in a style

reminiscent of a bygone era. The camp’s suites

overlook a river and each has its own private plunge

pool. Your stay Jock Safari Lodge includes lunch,

dinner, breakfast, two game drives, guided walks,

tea, coffee, water, game drive beverages, tourism

Enjoy a second full day of safari activities.

Morning and evening drives are performed in covered 4×4 Land Cruisers conducted by highly experienced rangers. Traversing through the concession, the wildlife is sometimes staggering in its diversity. This is one of the most game dense regions in Africa and one of the best places to see leopard. Walking Safaris are encouraged, after a hearty breakfast, moving through the veld enjoying vistas of unsurpassed beauty and discovering one’s place in the cycle of nature. The diversity of fauna and flora in this unique concession truly comes alive when viewed on foot. Deposit Requirements

First Deposit:

A deposit of AUD$6,000 per person (non-refundable amount of AUD$3,000 per person) is required by

31st January 2017. If a booking is made after this date the first deposit is required at time of booking.

This deposit will be converted to South African Rand (ZAR). The bank exchange rate will be advised

to you at the time to be offset against the total package price. This deposit will secure your place on

the tour. Your booking will not be confirmed until the Signed Booking Form is returned and the

deposit paid.

Final Deposit:

Final payment is due by 30 June 2017. The final payment will be for the full price of the tour in South

African Rand, less the deposits paid and converted to AUD based on the best bank rate of the day.

No refunds, under any circumstances, are available after 30 June 2017.

Payment Method:

Amounts may be paid by bank transfer to our nominated bank trust account in AUD$. All deposits

will be converted to South African Rand at the prevailing bank rate and remitted to our South

African partner for payment in Rand.

Credit cards may be used however a surcharge will be applied depending on the type of card used

Terms and Conditions

INFORMATION

The tour you are booking with GOLFSelect is a customized tour to suit your group and, as such, our procedures and deposit

policies vary from other tour operators. The following information will be required to confirm all aspects of your golfing

package.

Full name and mailing address of each member of the group. (Including sex, as some clubs in the British Isles restricts days

and times ladies may play).

A letter of introduction from each member of the group’s home golf, club stating handicap and they are in good standing

within the club or a copy of your handicap card.

To secure the reservation and place the tour into operation you must complete the booking form and forward the

appropriate deposit as outlined above. Deposit amounts will vary depending on the services you have requested. Once

your deposit is received your tour will be placed into operation. Deposits are used to secure golf, transport and

accommodations and are therefore non-refundable. Final payment of the balance due on the tour must be received by

GOLFSelect no less than 120 days before the scheduled tour commences. Until then, the total price of the tour is not fully

guaranteed. Payment can be made by the following credit cards – Visa or MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club

(surcharges apply for all credit cards), personal or company cheque and also bank transfer.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION AND DEPOSIT

Any individual who makes the booking for this trip is responsible for all payments made to GOLFSelect in accordance with

the payment schedule listed above.. It will be the responsibility of each individual person making the payment

arrangements to ensure they understand both the deposit and cancellations terms and conditions as laid out by

GOLFSelect.

CANCELLATIONS Notification of cancellation must be forwarded to GOLFSelect in writing or by email as soon as possible.

The following is a schedule of charges incurred by the client if for any reason they decide to cancel the tour,

366 and + days prior to the commencement of the tour, loss of initial deposit.

365 – 121 days prior to the commencement of the tour, loss of any deposits paid to date.

120 – 0 days prior to the commencement of the tour, total tour cost non-refundable.

If GOLFSelect has any reason to cancel the tour, a full refund will be made including any deposits paid

LAND TRANSFERS The itinerary includes coach transport from the point of arrival until departure date unless specified otherwise. All motoring

and drivers expenses are included in the price of the tour.

HOTELS It is the policy of GOLFSelect to use hotels that have a 4 or 5 star rating. All quotations are based on rooms with private

bath/shower at the hotels requested. Should any hotel not be available after your quotation, an alternative of similar

standard will be offered. Superior and De-luxe rooms are available for a supplementary charge in most hotels.

UNUSED TOUR SERVICES Tour services included in the tour packages, which are not used, are non-refundable. No refund will be made for unused

hotel accommodations, tee times or any other service due to flight delays or unscheduled changes or for any other

reason.

PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAVEL TO SOUTH AFRICA On arrival in South Africa, holders of Australian passports must have in their possession a signed, valid passport that will

remain valid for at least 6 months beyond the completion of this trip. Your passport must have at least (2) blank pages

(excluding amendment pages) available for entry and exit stamps. If you are not a citizen of the Australia your entry

requirements may vary, please contact the nearest diplomatic or consular office of the country or countries to be visited

and obtain the specific requirements for entry.

TOUR DOCUMENTS Tour documents will be sent to you approximately 3 weeks prior to your departure date with all relevant documentation

therein.

HANDICAP CARD OR CERTIFICATE GOLFSelect stipulates that all clients must carry with them a current handicap or a general letter of introduction from their

home club. Failure to do so may result in access being denied at a number of the clubs. This can be provided to

GOLFSelect ahead of the tour.

CADDIES/ PULL BUGGIES

We have included, in our packages, a forecaddie per group as well as a pull buggy or motorised cart where applicanle.

We have found, with experience, that a forecaddie provides an invaluable source of information on where to hit (and

where not to) as well as assisting with reading putts.

If you require a dedicated caddy for you this can also be arranged ahead of time. Please advise us on booking if they are

required. Caddy fees are to be paid by the client directly to the caddy or caddy master on the day of play and are not

the responsibility of GOLFSelect.. Please note that caddies are not directly employed by the respective golf clubs and it is

the caddie’s responsibility to arrive at the allotted time and as such no responsibility is accepted by GOLFSelect. Gratuities

are included in the caddy fees and any other gratuities can be paid at the individuals discretion.

Fancourt - The Links: Please be aware The Links is a walking course only and caddies are compulsory. Carts are permitted

with a medical note, but are required to stay on the paths.

MEET AND GREET You will be met by a representative of GOLFSelect upon arrival on the first day of the trip, subject to arrival flight times. You

will be given a tour briefing at the airport or first night hotel. While travelling you will also have the backup facilities of our

South African travel partner for any help or advice you may require.

BAGGAGE The airline baggage allowance varies per airline carrier. Please refer to the airline website you are flying with for

clarification on luggage restrictions.

TRAVEL INSURANCE GOLFSelect strongly recommends Travel Insurance. On booking your golfing vacation, please ask for details of our

preferred partner insurance company that we will be happy to recommend to you.

Please remember it is your responsibility to have adequate travel insurance in place should you need to cancel the trip for

any reason. GOLFSelect is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, or for personal injury,

accident or illness that may prevent travelling. Therefore, please ensure you have adequate insurance before travelling.

DISCLAIMER GOLFSelect further referred to as ‘the company’ and/or its agents, act only as agents in making arrangements for hotels,

tee times, sightseeing tours and transportation or any other service in connection with the itineraries of individual tour

members who by acceptance thereof, acknowledge that the company and or its agents and suppliers shall not be liable

for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to personal injury due to act or default of any

hotel, golf club, carrier or any other company or person providing or rendering of services included in the tours.

Further, the company and or its agents accept no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery

breakdown, government restraints, weather conditions, defaults in any vehicle of transportation or any misadventure or




casualty or any other causes beyond their control. The company reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any

service, and to decline to accept or retain tour members at any time for any reason including insufficient numbers of

participants.

The client, by engaging the company and making deposit and/or full payment for the package arrangement specified,

acknowledges the position of the company as stipulated by the foregoing and agrees to hold the company blameless in

making arrangements on his/her behalf, provided same should be made through generally accepted suppliers at the time

of engagement, and further agrees that the restitution of damages, if any are claimed, shall be sought directly from the

suppliers. The client also agrees to the terms and conditions of the tour and services set forth by the suppliers. Rates are

subject to change without notice.

Payment of deposit or full payment shall constitute consent of all provisions stated herein. Due to the nature of British and

Irish weather, it is not possible to return green fee payments from golf clubs if courses are affected by adverse weather

conditions. If however any refunds are to be made, this will be at the discretion of the golf club.

Travel Insurance

It is compulsory that you have Travel Insurance because if you need to cancel your

tour for health or other reasons you may be able to claim some of your tour payments

back. Travel Insurance can be purchased within 12 months of the departure date.

First Deposit:

A deposit of AUD$6,000 per person (non-refundable amount of AUD$3,000 per person) is required by 31st January 2017. If a

booking is made after this date the first deposit is required at time of booking. This deposit will be converted to South

African Rand (ZAR). The bank exchange rate will be advised to you at the time to be offset against the total package

price. This deposit will secure your place on the tour. Your booking will not be confirmed until the Signed Booking Form is

returned and the deposit paid.

Final Deposit:

Final payment is due by 30 June 2017. The final payment will be for the full price of the tour in South African Rand, less the

deposits paid and converted to AUD based on the best bank rate of the day. No refunds, under any circumstances, are

available after 30 June, 2017.
