The Brew NAKID SOCIAL SPORTS
Summer Week Two, 2013
Step One: Two teams of 3
people each will have 23 cups
(a 21 cup pyramid and 2 water
cups). There will be one pitcher
for each side divided among the
21 cups.
Step Two: Each team member selects who their opponents will
be. (In the game each person
will only drink the cups that
their Nemesis partner hits.)
Step Three: Once Nemesis
partners have been chosen, you
play rock paper scissors to see who
throws first.
Step Four: Let the fun begin!
Note: Each team gets a re-rack at
10 and 6 cups.
While we encourage
teams to play Flipcup as
often as possible, quite
often as the bar clears
out you may find that
people will start to play
other games such as Drunkball or Nemesis (a
larger, more alcoholic
version of beer pong.)
What is Nemesis you
might ask? It can be
explained in four easy
steps.

NAKID has space for 60
volunteers per session (Saturday 10-2:20 am, 2-
6:20 pm, 6-10:20pm and
Sunday from 2-6:20pm).
Volunteer assignments
include: pouring beer,
helping people enter,
helping run the merch
and water area, and
assisting NAKID with
flip cup, giant jenga,
ladder golf, beer pong!
Rewards include: a free
ticket to Drink The District
(either this weekend or any
future Drink the district) or
3 tickets to taste of DC in
October!

You must be a
member of NAKID
for either Spring or
Summer 2013, have
health insurance,
and be at least 21 years of
age to participate. You may not drink while vol-
unteering and cannot
work if you are drunk.
Please wear comfortable
clothes and bring your ID.
NAKID will do our best
to keep groups/friends
together! So come on
out and have some fun
with your fellow NAKIDs.

inside scoop on our DJ,
Welvin.
Welvin is one of the
original NAKIDs. Even
though he has only been
DJing for NAKID since
2010, he’s been involved in
NAKID since the very begin-
ning. He first became inter-
ested in DJing when he real-
ized that he had songs that
weren't being played at the
bar. He has been DJing for
NAKID ever since. He has even DJed at NAKID wed-
dings!
Please don’t hesitate to
come up to Welvin and re-
quest songs. He literally has thousands of songs and is
more than happy to play anything! Next time you are at the
bar go say hi to Welvin!

Don’t miss our NAKID Power Hour on July 27th at 4 PM held at one your favorite local bars, Madhatter! Since the world did in fact not end in 2012 as predict-ed, there’s only one thing to do...celebrate as if it was ending!
We will have an apocalypse themed power hour full of videos and songs that you will not want to miss! It is $10 for NAKIDs and $20 for non-NAKIDs to participate. Sign up by clicking here.
History will once again be made this year with
the 8th annual World Series of Flip Cup
tournament held in your very own Washington,
D.C.!! Whether you aim to win or just want to
have a good time with friends, fellow NAKIDS,
and players from around the world this event is the place to be! Start getting
your team together now because the tournament will be taking place Saturday,
September 7th from 1:00PM-5:00PM at Old Dominion Brewhouse. Teams will
be allowed 6 players and 2 alternates. Registration also includes 4 hours of an
open beer bar!! Early Bird prices are currently available, so don’t miss out! You

This is Salute Your Jorts. This Wednesday night they brought a whole lot of
fun to the field. Salute Your Jorts has been in NAKID for a little over a year.
You can find these crazy kids more often than not rocking their jorts. One
team member, Spencer said “I’m really excited to repping jorts and meeting a
bunch of new people. No other team is awesome enough to wear jorts.”
Their captain, Piao says that kickball just simply isn’t enough for them. They
are constantly making their own activities and hanging out, even when they
aren’t playing kickball. So put your underwear on the flagpole (Salute Your
Shorts Reference for those of you that remember it) and say hi to Salute
Your Jorts!
