Dear Parishioners Before the COVID-19 pandemic caused us to hit the PAUSE bu on on our daily lives and plans, we were ready to launch the in-person Dream Event here at St. Augus ne’s Church as
part of our Dynamic Parish ini a ve. Sadly, that event needed to be postponed as all public Masses and parish ac vi es within the Diocese were suspended by mid-March. Now I am happy to inform you we have begun to hit the RESET bu on on parish life with the re-opening of church for public Masses, the gradual re-introduc on of parish ac vi es and the re-launch of this program. In par cular, there are a few aspects of this program that are important for you to be aware of right now. Because we are s ll being cau ous about bringing large groups together, we are offering a Virtual Dynamic Parish Event
tled: Unleash Your Power To Dream. The topics covered include: the power of dreaming in mes of crisis; the reasons this is a great me to revise and add to your financial, character and spiritual dreams and prac cal wisdom on achieving the dreams you iden fy during this event. Looking for a GREAT summer read? Today and next weekend we will be distribu ng copies of Rediscover Jesus by Ma hew Kelly. This is a powerful and inspiring book that has sold millions of copies. I am certain that you will find it useful for your spiritual journey. It also makes a good “beach read.” Take an extra copy for that teenager or new graduate. All ages can benefit from reading this book. In the midst of the uncertainty and challenges of daily life, I believe that this book will provide a source of hope and good conversa on with God.
Also, I am excited to offer you the Rediscover Jesus Email Program beginning July 14! This is similar to the Best Lent Ever program which many of you signed up for during Lent. What: The Rediscover Jesus Email Program is a 40-day ini a ve. Parishioners are sent daily videos via email. Each video corresponds to a chapter of Rediscover Jesus. When: The program begins on July 14 par cipants who sign-up by July 13 will begin on July 14 and end on August 20.
