The people of Ember had a

generator that produced

electricity. Homes were

lighted with lightbulbs.

The people of Regalia lighted

their homes and buildings with

torches.

food form the storeroom.

The people of Regalia ate

fish and beef. They also

grew some produce from

the underground gases.

The people of Ember

recycled the garbage.

They remained clothing

and repairs tools.

The spiders spun cloth for the people .

water The people of Ember got their

water from the river.

The people of Regalia had

both hot and cold springs

running water through

their city.

town hall. Surrounding it

buildings had businesses below

The city of Regalia

was beautiful with

artfully decorated

buildings.

shopkeepers were also

Regalia also had soldiers.

The city was ruled by a

mayor who held absolute

power over the people.

The city was ruled by a

royal family and a council.

The biggest fear

was the unknown

region which was

dark.

The people of Regalia

had to fight enemies

including giant sized rats.
