There’s still nothing quite like a Corvette from
it’s unique semi-planing hull, giving speeds in
excess of 26 knots, to the beautiful, spacious
hand-built wood interior featuring three cabins,
six berths, two showers and heads, every
Corvette 320 is handbuilt for your cruising
pleasure.
The UniqueCorvette 320
The unique hull design provides an ideal combination
of planning and semi-displacement characteristics
resulting in an excellent safe sea boat that can
also travel at planing boat speeds.
With an overall length of just 32ft and a wide beam of 13ft, the Corvette is
generally acknowledged as having one of the most spacious and voluminous
layouts of any boat in its class.
The huge aft stateroom has a full size double berth, an
en-suite shower and toilet, a large hanging wardrobe,
dressing table and ample storage space. The forward
cabin features two single berths, an en-suite shower,
hand basin and toilet.
Up on the teak covered decks, getting around couldn’t
be easier or safer and the generous beam of the Corvette
allows for particularly wide side-decks.
Satisfied owners testify to many other features of the Corvette; the
excellent natural light and ventilation or the good access to all mechanics
and service items or additional accommodation made possible in the
saloon area by way of an easily converted settee/double berth.
The Corvette 320 is a safe and thoroughly seaworthy cruiser,
providing exhilarating performance, spacious accommodation
with reliable and economical operation. Powered by twin
diesel engines of up to 330 HP, driving conventional shafts,
the unique semi-displacement hull form provides the
best of both worlds in terms of speed and stability
whether at 7 knots or up on the plane at 26 knots.
2009 saw the production of the Corvette 320 moved from the
UK to the highly respected Fleming Yachts yard in Taiwan, where both
Corvette and Fleming teams work alongside to continue the production
and development of the Corvette 320 and the new 340.
