It's time to bid farewell to what could be termed as the most eventful decade, the first of the 21st century (2000-2009). An attempt to visually portray this decade
reveals that dreadful wars and natural calamities take center stage. A close look prompts one to think about the growing complexities in the world one lives in. Click
through and see for yourself.NOTE: Some images in this post contain graphic content.

we come here to earth for the experiences necess ary
to our self mas tery. The tragedies we see here are
swallowed up in the process of gaining the necessary
intelligent self mastery for our glory to come.
What happens on earth such as these situations we see here will go to contribute to that glory
which we look forward to according to our faith. Doug

We are born on earth, and our experiences lead to our self mastery, yes. But, the glory to
come is not in the next world but in our own. I look forward to a future where we can overcome
our horrid past and remember these im ages as those of a bygone era. Heaven is what we
make it, glory is there for humanity if we choose to obtain it.
